Well worth the money!!!
I am impressed for $38!! Definitely worth the money! I bought these to try free skates and I'm glad I did! Build quality and components are nice looking I don't have anything to complain about!! Watch the jmk video on how to get started! I'm very glad I did! Even after many years of skating and other extreme sports.

Extremely steep learning curve, but really fun once you get the hang of it
I ride skateboards and rollerblades, so it seemed like these half-skateboard drift boards would be something that would be a natural evolution, and something fun to try riding on. I watched some videos on YouTube of people ripping around on these like crazy, and they looked super fun, so I had to give them a shot. I'll tell you, once you get it down, they're really quite fun, and when you manage to get in a good run it feels like it does when you catch a wave on a boogie board and ride it in to the shore.I can't stress enough just how steep the learning curve is; it is definitely not easy. Granted I'm in my late 40s, but still... It's not like I'm totally out of shape or unable to ride. I bunnyhop my bicycles, do DH runs at the ski resorts on my mountain bikes in the summer, and I ride long boards all the time. That being said, my 12-year-old also got quite frustrated and even threw in the towel, and it wasn't until I pressured him to keep trying that he finally got it down. While he can pretty much ride down the street on them, I however can only consistently get in short runs as I am still working it out.Overall, I think these are a pretty decent deal. They're not overly expensive and they seem to be competitively priced when compared to other similar riding platforms. If you're thinking of picking these up for a kid, I think they'll work out just fine. If you're thinking about picking these up for yourself as an adult, just keep in mind that there really is a steep learning curve, but you can do it; it's just probably not going to go quite as quickly as it will for a kid.

If you want them for a specific date make sure you order about 2 weeks in advance
Product itself was great but shipping was awful. Said it got lost a few times and delivery days kept changing

Determined to learn how to use free skates!
The media could not be loaded. They are difficult to use. Must be determined to learn and practice.

Decent skates to figure out if it's something for you
Pretty solid construction and the wood plates are lighter and easier on your foot that metal. The bearings and wheels will hold you back though so before you give up on freeskating first upgrade bearings. The wheels are similar to jmk proformance but seem much grippier so might also make it harder to learn. Overall not bad, but with upgrades you won't save too much money over some jmk's.
