Works well
I have terrible RLS which prevents me getting to sleep. One dropper full at night about 1 to 2 hours before bed and I can fall asleep. Before trying this I was drinking tonic water but could not stand the taste. This stuff tastes pleasant, not great. Using so little at a time the large bottle will last a while .

I wasn’t impressed with how affective
I bought this product in hopes to relieve or at least give some relief to my leg cramps. I got no relief what so ever.

I would not use a Quinine-based product to treat leg cramps.
Leg cramps, especially nocturnal ones, can be very painful. Most times these are caused by dehydration and those who routinely suffer from them know how troubling they can be as most times they come out of the blue. This product is designed to be taken regularly in order to prevent the cramps. The downside to this is that these will not alleviate a cramp when it happens ... but rather the liquid is designed to be taken regularly as a preventative measure over time. According to a scientific study: "Quinine may help by decreasing the excitability of the motor end-plate and increasing the muscle refractory period." (In layman's terms ... lessening the occurrence of leg cramps. However, I have studied a lot of supplements and vitamins and many studies published by medical professionals warn against the once common practice of taking 200 - 300 mg doses of Quinine in order to treat nocturnal leg cramps. (The dosage in this supplement is 300 mg of Quinine.) From a study published by the National Institute of Health: In 2009, the US Food and Drug Administration explicitly noted an unfavourable risk–benefit ratio for quinine when used for leg cramps. Because of continued reports of potentially serious adverse effects from this off-label use of Quinine, the Food and Drug Administration in 2010 launched a risk-management plan about Quinine's use for leg cramps."Basically, many health organizations have recommended Quinine not be used to treat leg cramps (without specifically prohibiting the use of such products). I recommend that you pull up the research as to why this is. For this reason, I personally would not chose to continue using this product and would focus on proper hydration instead to get rid of nocturnal leg cramps after doing research from scientific journals.

Do your research....
Suggested form of taking is by either adding to 2 oz of water, or putting drops under your tongue twice a day.The first time I took them, I placed the drops under my tongue. The taste was bitter, a bit of a medicine taste, and earthy.I don't get leg cramps, but I do get cramps in my feet at night, and I was hopeful that these drops would help.First impressions were good. I could see me adding this to my routine. That being saidToday before doing my review, I did some research on the ingredients. The very first ingredient listed is Quinine. If you research Quinine, one of the first things that will often be mentioned is this is used to fight malaria. It also clearly states not to use it for leg cramps.I could not get any information on if the 300 mg is a safe dosage. All that was said was 'Don't use to treat leg cramps'This was from several reputable sites.Quinine is no longer FDA approved for the treatment of Leg Cramps.I gave 5 stars, because it seemed to work.Because of the possible dangerous side effects (which I won't get into, but encourage you to do your own research) I will not continue taking, for now.
