After years of ramen instant noodle and other similar products, I decided to try a new brand out. And boy was I glad I did! The variety pack is a great way to get started with the brand – it came with three different flavors, each very good.My favorite was the shrimp. OH. MY. GOD. This makes all of the "shrimp" flavored ramen I used to buy in bricks from the grocery story seem like a totally different food. The broth was super flavorful...I decided to eat the shrimp ones plain but will likely use them forward for some more elaborate dishes.The other two flavors were also great – with the highlight being how fresh the mushrooms were. I ate them as a side with some three-cup-chicken I whipped up (and I must confess I even had some cold noodles for breakfast the next morning...).Part of why I love this brand so much is how easy is it to prepare. I like to cook (or at least feel like I cooked), but I struggle finding the time. Nona Lim made it easy for me to feel like I was making myself dinner, without having to invest more than 10 minutes, but still ending up with a delicious meal.I will definitely be buying again. These are for you if you want fresher noodles than you're average instant ramen and broth that will make you feel like you're eating it straight out of your grandma's pot :).

I tried several containers but found myself wishing I had simply bought 25 cent packs of noodles with flavor packets. Even cups of noodles that contain dried vegetables and shrimp, etc. beat the flavor. I cannot recommend these as a good value and certainly not as a meal.

These noodles taste great,but only after adding salt. The texture of the noodles are great. The fill line is on the outside of the bowl making it difficult to see when you've actually reached the fill line.

I was looking forward to trying Nona Lim's new Instant Noodle Bowls, as I am a fan of the fresh ramen and broths. Everything about these noodles bowls is amazing! When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how big the bowls are--so much larger than other brands--and worth the $$. I've never seen an instant noodle cup made without MSG, artificial ingredients or preservatives, and I could immediately taste the difference. I was eating real food, not chemicals!The mushrooms and vegetables really do plump up and actually look, taste and chew like real vegetables. The noodles have texture--so much better than the mushy noodles in other instant noodle bowls. And the broth is flavorful and rich (especially the mushroom), not overly salty and really tasty.On their own, a bowl is a pretty satisfying lunch (in minutes). You can also add fresh veggies and tofu, shrimp or chicken and make a quick, substantial meal for 2 that comes pretty close to what you'd carry out from a restaurant. I hope Amazon has plenty on hand, because I'm going to stock up!

The noodles don't soften even after 10 min. Then when they do they taste like soap. Not spicy. Total waste of money! The soup looks nothing like the picture. It is gross!!

I've been a big instant noodle eater, but most of the noodles that I've had before are all high in MSG and the noodles are almost always fried. I decided to try out Nona Lim's instant noodle bowl after buying their noodles at Whole Foods. I'm so happy that I finally found a healthy instant noodle bowl that is tasty!I enjoyed all three of the noodle bowls, but the highlight is definitely the yunnan mushroom noodles. I love how the noodles are freeze dried so it tastes just like a fresh bowl of noodles when you heat it up. The soup and vegetable concentrate is great as well - you can definitely see the shiitake mushroom and porcini mushrooms when eating the noodles.The spicy mala one is fantastic as well and I really enjoyed the kick and our daughter loved the fujian shrimp noodles. These noodles are great for the winter as the weather gets cold and you want to heat up a quick healthy meal. I'm definitely buying more again in the future!
