Fun for Builders
My Fiance picked this out for my Dad and man did my dad love it. It was such a fun thing to put together and he really enjoyed it. All the pieces were there, it was a great quality product.

Not just for kids
I bought my engineering husband this for Valentines Day. He put it together right away and bought a plastic cover to put over it so he could display it. He really enjoyed putting it together and it looks great in his office.

Fun build, nice working model
A fun build results in a nice working model. There are lots of small screws. I had to reinforce a few joints with CA glue.

Review
Grandson said it is very hard to put together. He has several level 4 items . This is his first level 5. It keeps him busy, he's getting it together just tedious and must take your time

Great kit!
Very interesting kit. I have enjoyed building this item. I don't believe this kit would be good for young kids, but most people should happy with it. I would recommend this product highly.

Six hours???!! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.....!
The media could not be loaded. This was a birthday present to me from my spouse. She really pushed the envelope on this one! We both enjoy constructing and viewing 3D puzzles and have several on display in our family room. This ROKR model appears (and is) a welcome addition to our existing collection. Getting it built correctly took me about 1.5 weeks of 1.5 hour sessions mostly during the daylight hours. Tip: if you want to work on this model after dark, make sure you have good lighting. That said, the manual is concise and must be referred to carefully during the construction phase. Also, I did rely on gel-superglue and small dabs of wood glue to help secure some of the more critical assemblies. Some of the steps are torture, like requiring the attaching two hinges using 8-very tiny, tiny screws. But, from then on, it gets easier, and above all, fun. Yes, the inventiveness in the design of this puzzle is amazing and awe inspiring. For the right person, this can be the perfect gift.

High Hopes, Disappointing
I have built 6 other Rokr products and all included good materials, clearly written instructions, and pieces that fit together well. I looked forward to this model and I did finish it but it tried my patience. Like all Rokr products, it's important to read the instructions and follow the prompts, this set of instructions were often confusing, particularly the illustrations. Upon opening the box I carefully reviewed all the parts that were included, however many were mislabeled and I had to hunt around to make sure I had the required parts to begin. Rokr parts have always been well made, in this case, parts were flimsy, often not staying attached to the section you were working on, I have never had to use quick drying glue to hold sections together on all my other models but with this one I had to use glue to stick pieces together in critical sections. I also found there were fewer videos available to help construct areas around the back half of this model. Some parts that were used to join pieces together did not hold and I was forever having to double back and reattach critical areas. The illustration on the videos shows an assembly to attach the cart to the steam engine, there were no such parts in my model. As for working, some sections do but the gears did not match up properly to move the model. The smokestack was a bear to attach and I broke an already weak axle, but glue and a narrow aluminum strip enabled me to put it together....even stronger than the original piece. I did finish it and cosmetically it looks fine sitting on a display shelf. It appears to me that the designers of this model tried to do too many things that potentially could cause a problem in building, it's the first kit that I have had a problem building. I like the looks of the model and the colors, but it was a difficult build.

Tiny parts
The model is very beautiful but, has a lot of extremely small parts. It has been a challenge for me.
