Having used a friend's looper, I thought I'd invest in one for myself. I'm not a great fan of double-tapping, so I wanted a two-pedal looper. The peddle is really easy to use and there's so many YouTube videos out there, you can get started really quickly. I would also recommend watching videos on "how to loop", so you know what you're getting into. I wanted a looper to act as a practice buddy, helping me improve on my rhythm and creative work, and this certainly meets that requirement. It is really easy to build up layers in the track, the display giving a great indication about how far you are through the loop. I haven't experimented with the more advanced features yet, but I'm really excited to get into it.I docked a star for a couple of reasons. The launch video has the Loop+ being "unboxed" from a case - which isn't included. The support videos also talk about included USB cables for firmware updates. There are no included USB cables. My looper came with a midi-3.5mm jack and 4 AA batteries. That is all. If I'd known that was all that was in the box, it wouldn't have changed my purchase decision, but it would have been nice to know these accessories were not included.

Took just a few moments to unbox and setup. Didn't read the directions. This looper was so simple to use, and it's the first time I heard myself play where I actually sounded good. The looping was easy to do, with visual clues and excellent controls. Just taking it out of the box it felt like a tank - built for strong use. It's without a doubt the heaviest pedal I own, and that's a great thing as it doesn't move around when I press the switches with my foot. Quality all around. Downloading the driver and installing was easy, and probably could have been easier had I read the directions. With this looper being so good I'm already thinking about trading up to their more advanced looper. I'm an acoustic guitar player and am excited about all the creative stuff I'll be able do with this looper!

The boss Loopers are excellent and pave the way for this type of Looper. Ed did a great job of giving us just what was needed easy to navigate lots of looping storage easy to see interface and volume control knobs. What are you waiting for just buy one and have hours and hours of fun and create great music.

This looper is crazy rugged. It is beefy and feels like you will never break it, which is a big plus.It is more robust than the competitive Roland loopers, and like everyone says the pedals are great.The menu is easy to use, it has tons of connectivity, and the screen makes it very easy to see what’s happening. It has a fantastic battery that makes it a perfect busking companion. This is a pretty expensive 2 track looper so all that is important and good that it is included.I would recommend using this with a M-Vave chocolate wireless midi controller. It’s a really good pairing.So why does it get 3 stars? Because it is really a looper that is designed to be used EXACTLY the way Ed Sheeran uses it. There’s no loop volume knob or setting. It can be a little difficult to get to the second track. And if you don’t use a specific midi controller and customize the buttons, the assignable knobs are pretty limiting (eg, you can’t assign start/stop/dub to a control footswitch… it can only be assigned to the built in pedals, or custom added via midi control) like why not just make it an option in the software?There is a general feeling of inflexibility in the unit’s designed workflow. That’s fine if it suits your style, but might not be great if it doesn’t.So this is a perfect looper and I will be keeping it… but just be aware of the limitations to the workflow before you get it because they might be an issue for you.

Best looper I’ve ever used, period. Sounds great, looks great, easy to use, the switches are silent, it met every expectation I had. Thank you for making an affordable product that solo acoustic artists have needed forever!

this looper is trying to accomplish something admirable but unfortunately has a major flaw. Its suppsed to be able to record for up to 3 hours. I cant get more than 3 sub 1 minute loops saved to the internal memory without a save error, free up memory messsage. I can only assume they released the unit too early and the firmware isn't fully baked. I spent about an hour on 2 support calls with them but it was no use. after troubleshooting and a factory reset all i did was lose connectivity to my mac from the looper but still had the same issue. The unit is very well built and maybe in time will prove to be a great looper but right now its now. My only other gripe with the unit was that you have to set it to "USB Mode: in order to connect its file system to your mac or PC. I was hoping i could record and pull files from it at will which would have improved my workflow. Too bad, I'm going to return it.

It has superior build quality. It has a metal frame that’s heavy and feels sturdy. The pedals are also good sized so that you can use it for actual performance. Controls are pretty easy to use. The only challenging aspect was timing. Your timing has to be perfect to use it. I’m not good at counting beats, but I would press the pedal as I would just about to hit the start note of the first bar. That helped me a lot. I returned it, because I purchased headrush core since it brings more value and has built in looper.
