Comes with everything you need, if you’re using it for a horse gate the bolt will not be long enough once you put the chain on so I had to use a carriage bolt I had on hand. Does come with the staple thing.

Simple and fast
If you don’t have these you are missing out. Me but mostly my kids love them. Went to a horse farm that used these I went home and ordered everyone they had. I kick myself for all the years of irritating clippings and nails and about a 1000 other things I’ve made or tried. I have about 15 or so installed and about to order more

Heavy, quality chain latch
I really like this chain latch! I bought it thinking it was smaller, so it won't work for my original purpose but it is so nice I'm keeping it.Because I know it will come in handy down the line. It is all well made heavy pin, loop and chain and I really like the simple flip loop design. So easy to operate with just one hand

Easy to open gate now!
If you have a smaller farm type gate, this is an essential! Much easier than any fixed style latch. Good value.

Great fence latch
I bought these for four gates on my new horse pasture fence. Easy to install and use!

Very handy
Only need one hand to operate. Horses haven’t figured it out. Will probably get more. The one side hook bent tho so I had to use a fence staple.
