Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐Spice: NoneCharacter Depth: 🌟🌟🌟🌟Plot: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Sensitive Issues: 🌟🌟🌟🌟Seven Summers stole my heart—it’s easily one of the most poetic reads I’ve picked up this year. Honestly, no clue why I waited so long to dive into it, but maybe some books just know the right time to find you. And I’m so glad this one finally did. This isn’t your typical romance; it’s more like a delicate dance of souls moving forward, sometimes together, sometimes solo, but always pushing on. Here’s a glimpse into the main characters who brought this story to life:Tom: If green flags had levels, Tom would be a whole forest. He’s sensible, grounded, and dealing with a huge revelation that makes him step back and reassess his whole life. Tom’s journey of rest and self-discovery had me rooting for him from start to finish.Liv: My feelings about Liv are a mixed bag. She’s tough to read at times, but considering the trauma she’s carrying, it’s hard to hold that against her. Her complexity is exactly what makes her so real and raw.Finn: Finn is the kind of charming disaster you can’t help but feel for. He’s been through some heavy stuff, and his response has been to keep his distance, running from his past. But it’s this brokenness that makes him unforgettable. The ending? Bittersweet perfection. Paige outdid herself with those last 150 pages—it was a rollercoaster that left me with every possible emotion. I wouldn’t say these characters are flawless, but that’s exactly what makes them so beautiful. In all their unique, twisted ways, they just feel real.Final Verdict: If you’re in the mood for something moving, with flawed but beautiful characters, Seven Summers is a must-read. Highly recommend!

Cannot stop Recommending this book!
I just finished reading this book and I'm still trying to process everything I'm feeling. It's a story about life, love, and loss, and it's centered around Liv, Finn, and Tom. I loved how the author explored the complexities of love and the difficult choices that come with it.Liv's journey was so relatable to me. I loved seeing her growth and healing throughout the years. She had to make some tough choices, and I appreciated how the author showed the reality of those choices. It wasn't always easy, but it was real.

Heart wrenching 💔
Discovering Paige Toon’s Seven Summers has been one of the true highlights of my reading year. I picked it up expecting a lighthearted summer romance, but this story dives so much deeper. It’s a beautifully woven tale of love, friendship, and grief that hits you right in the heart. This is far from a typical romcom—it’s the kind of story that’ll tug at your heartstrings, leaving you with that bittersweet ache only the most powerful stories can. What makes this book stand out is how real the characters feel. They’re not perfect; they’re flawed, still trying to navigate life’s unexpected turns and messy emotions. Paige Toon brings us into the lives of Liv, Finn and Tom with such authenticity that you feel like you’re growing with them, understanding their doubts and setbacks. The story dives into the raw, often uncomfortable sides of love and friendship—the moments that test bonds and push characters to question what they truly want. The romantic elements don’t follow the usual formula, either. Instead of whirlwind romance, there’s a steady, thoughtful connection that makes each interaction feel meaningful.Through these characters, Toon explores grief and healing in a way that resonates deeply. It’s about loss, resilience, and the strength found in vulnerability. The book doesn’t shy away from the less glamorous aspects of relationships but instead embraces them, making each joyful moment and quiet victory all the more powerful. In the end, this book isn’t just about romance; it’s about life’s unexpected twists and finding hope in even the most bittersweet situations. It’s a touching, mature love story that feels as real as it does unforgettable.

Seven heartbreaking summers
I read my first Paige Toon's book and I now know why people say that she knows how to pull your heart strings. She surely pulled mine with this book.Seven summers is the story of Liv and Finn and also, Tom. Liv and Finn met six summers ago, immediately got attached but when a tragic incident happened to Liv and Finn has his own life that's away from Cornwall, they make a promise that if they both are single when they meet again, they'd spend the time together and that's how they get to meet every summer.Liv, a sculptor with big dreams stuck in Cornwall after her parents accident as she thinks she has to be there for her brother. She gets to live her life every summer when Finn visits their coastline. We could see how much they both grew over the years and how she copes with her loss. The romance is such a slow burn but also made me anxious as I get to see a pattern that is causing the characters pain every single time. The story travels back and forth between every summer in the past six years and in the present time, we get to meet Tom who has come to Cornwall and staying in Liv's house as a tourist. You can't help but root for these two characters. You also would be anxious to know what's going to happen in the end. I love the character development of all three main characters, flawed and realistic in every way and how each of them is in the path of their self discovery. The romance was beautiful but also devastating. There's a HEA but you've to wait, wait again to see who it is with. This may be my first book of the author but I know I'm gonna pick her backlists. Do check it out!
