Perfect for anchor tie downs on sheds.
I live in Oklahoma where tie downs on any portable building is a necessity, due to the severe thunderstorms that we occasionally experience here. So far these have worked perfectly in several storms this year. Good quality and good value. And easy to install.

very easy to use
I actually needed these to anchor the "shepherd's hooks" that my hanging flower baskets were hung on. We had very heavy rains and they fell over bc of the weight of the baskets. I used string to attach the shepherd's hook to the anchor and it straightened it right out and it now stands perfectly straight and can bear the weight no matter how heavy it gets. This is a very good product.

Does the job!
Easy to use and kept our basketball hoop standing up with very high winds this week. It had fallen over every storm prior.

Solid as a Rock – A Must-Have for Windy Weather!
I purchased a 15ft by 7ft plastic greenhouse with an aluminum frame about a year ago, and living on the outskirts of Atlanta, we get our fair share of heavy wind storms and even tornado warnings. I used four of these 18’’ ground anchors with metal zip ties to secure the structure, and I’ve got to say—they have not let me down. They’ve kept my greenhouse grounded through it all. The anchors are super easy to install—just attach a drill and they drive right into the ground (unless you hit a rock!). Definitely recommend these for anyone needing serious outdoor security. Must-buy!

Very sturdy
They are very sturdy and easy to bury them and they don’t move once buried.

Pleased with these
These anchors came with the drill bit needed to screw them into the ground next to our shed. Be sure to set your drill to spin in synch with the augur blades and you’ll have no problem. It took me a little time to gauge where to start them so the ended up flush with the shed. Have a bar tool, I used an old car lug wrench, to make the half or quarter turn needed after screwing on the top rings for the lug nuts and washers.Lug nuts and washers are not included. We have dense, clay soil, but they went in like a hot knife through butter. I did hit an apparently solid rock with one that stopped its progress, but that’s expected. An 18” anchor only gives you a foot in the ground. If that’s all you need these are a good value. I hope to not need them, but if I did I’d buy them again.

Work, if you can get them into the ground.
A really tricky item to reviewThe drill attachment isn't deep enough to grip the ends well enough to not rock around, and should it hit a rock and stop, it's going to really wrench your wrist. You're better off using an impact driver that continuously taps.I am lucky enough to have a pneumatic impact driver, and even that was struggling with my rocky soil. I found it best to see if you can clear the distance needed with a digging pole, and if it could, remove it and drive the thread into the hole. The 2 I managed to drive in worked, but I had 2 more that kept finding enough obstacles to stop dead. After a while the thread on the end that you attach the eye to will become damaged. One bent entirely. If your ground is soft and you have no rocks, I think these will work well. If you don't, I found the old pet tie out types work better as they have a much smaller profile of screw thread, rather than the shallow yet wide style these have. It just increases the chances you'll hit something.
