First attempt at weather stripping old door
Bought an older house. Front door let in a lot of cold air. Put two strips on one side. Ran short. So I will order more. Works great

Fits variable size gaps, easy to trim, sticks well
I removed the original metal weatherstripping that was damaged and looked bad from a 40+ year old exterior door I recently rebuilt. After refinishing the door, filling the original weatherstripping groove, priming, painting, and changing hinges, I found quite a variation in the gap between the door and the frame, from 1/10” to over 1/4”. This weatherstripping worked great, installed easily, and looks really nice.

Disappointing Adhesion and Durability
I purchased this product for the door seal in hopes of improving insulation in my home and reducing heating costs. However, my experience with this product has been less than satisfactory. The installation process was as straightforward as advertised. Cleaning the door and applying the seal seemed simple enough, and initially, I was hopeful that it would effectively seal the gaps around my door frame. Unfortunately, my optimism quickly turned into disappointment as I noticed that the adhesive backing failed to provide adequate adhesion, despite meticulous surface preparation. Even after following the instructions diligently, the seal began to peel off within a short period, rendering its effectiveness questionable. Here is a pros and cons list according to my experiences:Pros:- Easy installation with self-adhesive backing.- Flexible material suitable for various sealing purposes.- Can be customized to fit different door and window sizes.Cons:- Poor adhesion despite proper surface preparation.- Doubts about long-term durability and effectiveness.- Some users experienced issues with adhesive quality and seal longevity. In summary, while the door seal offers convenience and versatility, its shortcomings in adhesion and durability raise concerns about its effectiveness as a long-term solution for insulation and weatherproofing needs.

Keeps the draft out
We like it. It keeps the drafts out, minimizes dust and dirt that comes in, and I hope bugs too. I think it also drop some noise levels as well

Excellent value, product
Anyone who says the adhesive doesn't stick is very obviously doing it wrong. At this price, I purchased the seal, despite the critical reviews, and I don't regret it. It's clear a number of 1-star reviews have been left by incompetent buyers or for a defective variation.
