This is an excellent watch for the price! Of course,it's the unique shape of the case that catches the eye. This case is very well made and comfortable; fits very well. The clasp is as nice as many high end watches; this piece is solid. Have not switched out watches since getting it (4 weeks) and this automatic movement is keeping excellent time! I'm more than pleased with the quality and accuracy of this watch! 5 stars

It’s a fun watch with the squished Submariner appearance. The watch is well made and generally has no sharp edges. It has an automatic self-winding Miyota (Citizen) watch movement with good accuracy and a hacking seconds hand. Lume is good. The only flaw I have with it for which I deducted one star is the clasp. It has a new style Submariner clasp made of solid not stamped metal. But my clasp had a number of sharp edges on it with a very sharp rivet connecting the folding portion of the clasp. It was easily fixed by a little time with my Dremel tool but the edges should have been taken care of before shipping. Other than that one issue, highly recommend.

So far, the accuracy of this watch is great. It is a “funky” look, different from my other watches. Quality is good, and band can accommodate a large wrist. Would recommend.

Cool design. Too small for the average man's wrist

I bought the black one first as an everyday beater. After falling in love with that piece this green sunburst dial was a must-have! It's got a decent and trustworthy mechanical movement with hacking seconds, solid end links, nicely finished bracelet with micro-adjustment; if I didn't know better, I'd think this was an expensive watch.

As a person who was vaguely entertained by Dali's impish view of life, culture, and the art world, I felt compelled to try this uniquely shaped watch. I have a Citizen Eco-Drive with essentially the same color scheme that I had recently dropped and broken; so I thought while it was in the shop I might be able to use this watch to trick friends into thinking I had dropped that watch so hard that it permanently changed shape.It's been more than five decades since I last had a stem-wound watch, so I'm re-learning how to wind such a watch without over-winding. Even with checking it every day for about a week it has stopped twice. One might find this winding ritual annoying because it's one more thing to do before showering in the morning. If I felt rushed at this part of the day, it would just about rule out any stem-wound watch. It's the little joke that keeps this ritual from growing too tedious. And the joke itself brings a full star to this watch IMO.My wrist is exceptionally large, and this watch is not quite comfortable on me: a person with wrists larger than 9 inches in diameter will need to get links. I also find that in pre-dawn light of a night-table I almost cannot see whether it's running; and it takes effort to see the date, despite the little magnifier window.For a businessman with a busy schedule, lots of crucial meetings, and a large wrist, I would find this watch hard to recommend this as a primary timepiece. To someone with a similar watch and a puckish sense of humor, it could be just the thing. It's almost bound to get a cult following - so to a person looking to keep it in pristine condition for five decades it might end up being more collectable than less distinctive watches.---Two weeks after purchasing ... I find the watch face to be too small to look good on my wrist. I have given up winding the watch daily. If I ever wear it in the future, I will have to go through the ritual of setting, day, date, and time as well as winding it. I've been wearing watches for nearly six decades: While the design is innovative, as a time piece this is the most disappointing watch ever.
