Finder 8'' Half Round Hand Rasp File Set with Rubber Grip + Plastic Handles

Good on price. Works good on EMT conduit.

I purchased 2 of these files 1 for my tool box and 1 for my work table. I like the molded rubber grip plastic handles because they are easy on the palm and feel secure when filing my projects. I ordered the half-round files because of their universal use as far as being two files in one, which saves me time not having to switch files when working.

No frills file, long and seems sturdy, performed it's job well.

I bought this to file billet aluminum. It did it's job very well and effectively. The texture is fine, consistent and we'll made. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is the very top of the tool is cut (as part of the production process) but is not rounded or finished. So the very top of the tool cannot be used. I imagine a nicer file would have a rounded top with file texture added. Also, the handle is not the best and the file seems to be cast into the handle and cannot easily be removed. This would make it hard to clamp the file to anything, though it is 8 inches so I suppose you could always clamp the body of the file, at the risk of damaging the tool.

Very handy and agile. Great way for sharpening my lawnmower blades. Seems very sturdy, expected to last a long time.
