Wonderful, natural lavender scent. Lasts a decent length of time

The sticky container is still holding on inside the garbage can after a few months. I was concerned it would fall in. It provides a good amount of scent without being overpowering. We have a metal garbage can and you can only smell it when you open it. It doesn’t pretty good job masking, if not really neutralizing, garbage smells.

This was ok for a small area. The scent fades kind of fast. But I love Fresh Wave fragrances

I'm not sure where some of the other reviewers are putting this that they say there is a "light" scent. I placed it on the underside of my trash can lid and wow - it is an extremely strong scent. Granted, the trash can is also inside a pantry, but still, it's really powerful. I have waited a week to see if it would dissipate and it has, but only slightly. [I suppose the upside of this is that it should last a while.] The design of the holder is also such that it is going to be a bit of a challenge to open it to put another pod in it. It is simply a push tab but when attached, the tab is on the bottom of the holder and almost flush against the lid. This also means that the "command" style adhesive is basically useless because there is no way to reach the tabs to pop them loose. Will need to just pry it off or leave it there even when no longer used. Overall, it's a great concept, but could use some design tweaking and pod formulation adjustments.

Excellent odor absorption! We have the fragrance free and so I thought I’d try the lavender. I was worried it would have a fake strong lavender smell, but it’s a very pleasant subtle aroma. It adheres extremely well to the kid of a trash can that we throw a lot of cat poop in. Prior to buying it, the smell was always awful, even with the lid closed. Now, even when the lid is open, there is no smell. It clearly does what it needs to do and absorbs all the odor. I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and it’s still doing its job. Will see how long it lasts. Definitely a great quality product!

I ordered the lavender fragrance to eliminate the odor from my garbage can. I’m normally a big fan of lavender scents but this is just terrible! I was expecting something that smelled like the febreze lavender air freshener, but this has almost an herbal type of smell that I found disgusting (I’m not sure if it’s because it’s all natural or what?). After attaching it on to the inside of my garbage can, it took a couple hours for the scent to spread in my kitchen (at first I didn’t know what it was but as soon as I identified it, I rushed to remove it from there and put it back in its packaging). I hate leaving negative reviews but unfortunately I’ll have to return this. On the plus side, the scent is pretty strong so I’m sure it’ll do the job of removing/overpowering any odors that you’re trying to get rid of!

These are perfect in my sons diaper pail! I was sick of trying the Arm & Hammer discs, which don’t deodorize very well and don’t last more than a few days. I put one of the little sachets in the holder and drop it in the bottom of his Munchkin pail. It’s a bit big but WORKS. I only have to change the sachet ever 6-8 weeks.... or longer! Absolute necessity if you have a stinky baby! 😅 I love that these are all-natural, too. Way more effective than using an oil plug-in or spray that just masks odors. I also have one of these in our cat’s litter box room and it helps! Hope this helps! 😉

I bought this 2 years ago, but I don’t think I ever got around to reviewing it. Let me tell you what brought me back around: I bought this 2 years ago, because besides diapers - and eventually pull ups - going in my room trash, there’s also food from when I eat in here. (No judging, thanks) And I have a can with a swing in & out, so it’s like a lot of “after air” wafting. (More like before, during & after but I digress.) I ordered this. The little pouch fit inside perfectly, and the holder stuck well. But after a couple of weeks I realized that not only was it not working, but it never had started working. And eventually it just unstuck on its own and dropped into the bag, but I didn’t care. Fast forward to about 1-2 months ago. I’m staring at one of my beautiful bookshelves full of books aka true love, and I see this black pouch on the shelf. I pick it up and wonder if this is what I had bought a while back, but I couldn’t remember because my memory stinks like gym socks. I decided to take 2 pouches out and put them directly inside the can ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BAG. 2 in front, 2 in back. Overkill maybe, but I was desperate because my little timed fragrance spray thingy was clearly constructed by someone who hates me. I have not smelled that can from that very minute to right now, and it’s only 3 feet from my bed. So I’m going to re-order JUST the pouches.
