Nice alternative to online maps
How I have missed printed maps. We are planning a trip across several states and this is helping us plan the off the interstate roads to take. The reference numbers help you find the adjourning map. My only beef is that not all maps are the same orientation.

Road Atlas --- Great Driving Enhancement
We recently traveled/drove from Northern Virginia to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The easy to read atlas was a great complement to our existing GPS and allowed us to take different, more scenic routes . David of Lake Ridge VA.

Easier to read, but more granular in detail
Binding is great . Font size is fine. It does not have the detail I was looking for, but ok to have in the car for reference. For most people I suspect this will work fine. I’ll probably buy a more detailed atlas in a larger size to update my 2001 version.

I know we all have GPS, but…
But…on occasion we’ve all lost our cell signal on an unfamiliar trip. And not to mention the dreaded dead phone battery! Anyway, I purchased this for a loved one traveling alone to another state and felt more secure knowing the physical maps were current with updated roads and easy to access in a spiral-bound format. I should probably buy them for all our cars to be safe.

Disappointed
This is really not a large print map. Unless you are sticking to main freeways this map is not that good. Just shows main roads, not at other roads.

Great compact size & help when GPS fails.
Went back to having a paper back up after GPS didn’t work in the mountains. This was very helpful to have with me on a long trip.
