I had a ice maker a few years ago, went to use it and it was broken , brought this one as a replacement and its great.This ice maker is ready to use in 6minutes, it offers two ice sizes , self cleaning function which is great, a handle attached making it easy to move around. had no leaks, value for money yes no more buying ice, only noise is when the ice drops but is is fairly quiet compared to my old one,

We love hosting summer garden parties, and I thought this ice maker would be a great addition. It churns out 9 bullet-shaped ice cubes in about 6 minutes, which keeps the drinks flowing without long waits or last-minute dashes to the local store for ice. I love that it offers two ice sizes - perfect for everything from chilling cocktails to my favourite bourbon on the rocks! The compact and sturdy design fits nicely on our countertop without hogging space, and the portable handle makes it easy to move around. The self-cleaning function is a big thing for us (we hate cleaning our kitchen gadgets) For this one, we just hold a button for 5 seconds, and it handles the dirty work for you. It’s surprisingly quiet too, so it works away in the background without interrupting. Honestly, I checked the reviews before buying, and it’s lived up to the hype. It’s well-built and appears to be reliable for every day use but we're already looking forward to the nicer weather so that we can invite our friends over for our first garden party of the year. I think it's value for money but always look for discount or voucher for the best deal.

Please note that this review although specific to the model reviewed against, it may apply to pretty much all of the ice makers of a similar size/type regardless of the brands. I have compared mine with my friends who have similar devices and all of them have a very similar mode of operation, and in the case of some they are almost identical inside despite beign different "brands". I chose this as it was the cheapest and had a reasonable style.The device works well, it deliveres batches of 9 "domed bullet shaped" ice cubes approx every 9 minuites (when set to large size), and drops it into a basket that can hold at least 3 or 4 batches. The first batch after switching it on may be small in size as the device is still reaching its full "coldness", but the second onwards are better sized.Excess ice cubes can be put in a ziplock bag and put in the freezer for use another day.The ice is a "cloudy" ice, but thats the nature of the "fast freeze" method used by these, and very dependent on oxygenation of the water, as well as minerals in the water. You may improve it by using filtered water to some extent.The cloudy nature of the ice has both pros and cons. The negatives are, it may not be very attractive for use in whiskys etc. Also it is more brittle, as it is very slightly less solid (the cloudyness is from trapped air during rapid freeze process), possibly requiring a little more apparent volume of ice in drinks to traditional fozen ice.However on the plus side, cloudy ice is very good for smoothies as it more easily breaks in the blender into smaller peices, whilst reducing damage to the blades. The "cubes" have a high surface are per volume and can cool drinks down quicker than traditional ice cubes.I do find on this model the removal of the bottom plug to drain and clean the device a little fiddly, compared to other models.

This ice maker is great as the summer is approaching for the party and just general hydration. It literally gives you sufficient enough amount of ice every few minutes. A friend and I were watching football and having a few drinks. Its so convenient as we didnt need to get up and get more ice as its already there. We used to have pre made ice and it just melts as we time goes by which was horrible. Because of its size you can literally bring it or leave it anywhere you like. As im a man, and just like every other men. I just hate cleaning it so im just chuffed when i found out that it had a self cleaning function. It appears very reliable, ever since I got it I never once looked back. It’s actually working every day. The design is good. I love how compact it is. Definitely recommended. Best thing you can get for the price.

Very pleasantly surprised on how quiet the running of the machine is. The time it takes to make the ice cubes is really quick. For someone such as myself who drinks a lot of ice coffee this machine is so convenient. Its not a bulky as I expected and looks really nice on kitchen worktop. 24 hrs after receiving its doing its job nicely,Highly recommend

Let me tell you - what a game changer it has been! It occupies its place on the countertop elegantly without being intrusive at all. The efficiency is top-notch - in no time at all you find yourself with a batch of ice to use. During our family gathering weekend, for a barbecue session, it continued churning out ice without any hiccups.I'm very happy with the ice maker because it gives me two sizes of ice cubes to choose from. The small ones are brilliant for beverages and the larger ones are perfect for making cocktails! The self-cleaning feature is a godsend, as it makes my life so much easier to manage in terms of maintenance tasks. What pleasantly surprised me was how quiet the machine is; I had anticipated it to be noisier based on products I've seen before. The only downside I've noticed is that the ice produced isn't completely clear. From what I gather, that seems to be an issue with these types of ice makers.This reliable piece of kit is perfect for entertaining guests or just keeping beverages chilled all day long - it works just as you'd expect it to!

I got this ice maker to mainly use when I have parties. It makes ice in approximately 5 minutes which is great for a party, having 2 different sizes is a good bonus too. Its very easy to use and comes with full easy to follow instructions too. Its nice and lightweight with a handle to move it around. It sits perfectly on the worktop when in use and stores away nice.
