Wilkinson M Series High Output Alnico 5 Strat Single Coil Middle Pickup for Stratocaster Electric Guitar, Cream

I bought this as a middle pickup for a Squier CV Strat. It works very well, it is a very solid Strat pickup, certainly competitive with the Player series stock pickups and a bit better than the stock CV pickups. A very good solution for the budget.

Got it installed next to a 130€ alumitone and I can't decide, which one I like better.It has character and produces and amazing clean sound. Of course you can modulate it, but more importantly to me; this is the kind of pickup you could have recorded "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" with. I just love the tone, so glad I finally installed this gem.It's a little splunky, so you can get quite a bit of a classical strat sound out of this as well, but I prefer it a little tamed with the help of my tone knob.Just a great and fun pickup, if I had one guitar with only this pickup, I would be sad at all.

輪郭が際立って目立っ音が出るので、個人的には好きな音。安いギターにデフォルトで載ってる特徴の無いピックアップは、一度交換してみる事をお薦め。特別にハイパワーと言う訳では無い様で、フロントかミドルに載せて、歪みというより、クリーンチャネルかクランチくらいの使い方が合うように思えます。SSHのシングル2個を交換しただけでリアはまだ試してないですが、リアのハムもwilkinsonにしようかと思ってます。
