Magnetic Key Box (1, Black) - Modern Car Key Holder - Adults, Car Owners - Unisex-Adults

This is a great size little key box. It seals airtight waterproof. Very well made. Foam inserts are nice inside so keys aren't rattling around. The magnets are super strong. This has already saved me once when I couldn't find my keys and I was in a rush. I bought a second one for my other car. Would buy again.

Had the case been able to accept credit card size cards it would have been perfect it is great for hiding keys. It would have been handy when I was on holiday in the UK and was on my own I parked the car then went for a walk on my own around a park and was mugged (robbed) and had my credit cards etc stolen. Before I left on my journey to the park I could have secured my cards in a case and felt that they would have been saved. I bought two of these cases and I thought that I could use my small drill sander to sand off a tiny edge in the inside of the case to accommodate credit card size cards ie driving licence etc or I have a small case that takes cards and could transfer the magnets to it but would need to enclose the contents in a small plastic bag and perhaps have to cover the lid in waterproof tape but the have to renew the tape each time I opened the case but for security it would be a small price to pay. If anyone knows of a similar case that takes credit card size cards please comment on my review, many thanks. This key box is large enough for a key fob, which is what I wanted it for. It is very sturdy & the two magnets are extremely strong.

Bought this for “in case” of being locked out! The magnet is very strong and the case is waterproof. I love the insert to protect a key from being broken. Great product!

The screws holding the magnets to the box are only secured with a small nut (not a lock nut or a lock washer). The length of the screw is also such that it doesn't even protrude all the way through the nut. It feels secure enough, but I have visions of it eventually loosening itself and the box separating from the magnets. I will be replacing this with longer screws that I can use with a lock nut for peace of mind. I also plan to use a velcro strap or zip ties as an extra layer of security. The last thing I want is to eventually need to access my spare key and the box to have fallen off.
