Runs really quiets and keeps CPU cool.
This was my first time installing this kind of Cooler. It is a little more annoying than the kind that doesnt need you remove your motherboard to install the back plate but its worth it, and probably less annoying when building a new PC. But Anyways just pay attention to the instructions included, and make sure you install the brackets with the screws in the centers upwards, as this is what the radiator will attach to. And dont over tighten it. Just until it stops wiggling. My CPU was running IDLE at 60 degrees Celsius, and now runs much cooler at 40 Degrees Celsius. Even under it load doesnt get much hotter. I did make upgrades to my system, as it was a gift. I guess the new ram sticks, as they are technically mis-match, made my CPU run a little hotter despite a 12GB upgrade. The cool thing is that I can bring this to my next build if I want, but I most likely will just order another one since its pretty affordable. I definitely recommend this, I cant attest to overclocking or anything like that. But it fits what seems like every socket type, although I saw no mention of AM5 socket but if you know if AM4 and AM5 are similar in terms of screw placements, then this may not be bad, but if youre running DDR5 then you probably can afford a better cooler even water cooling anyways. This is my very first PC experience and honestly everything is idiot proof lol. My grandma probably could install this.

The little cooler that could
These things are shockingly good for the size and the price. Like really shockingly shockingly good.I have the previous version of this thing on my emulation/tv gaming computer in my rec room which is an older build 5600x/6700xt and even on games that push the hardware the CPU maxes out at 73C. Is that kinda hot? It is vs a $100 big air cooler or AIO. Is it well within specs for that CPU? Absolutely. For $14 it's impossible to beat and these are my go-to coolers for basically any build that isn't getting overclocked or a known "hot" processor.I see all these builds with crazy cooling setups and obviously ppl can build however they want. It's one of the awesome parts of the hobby. But 90% of the time, this $14 cooler would be more than enough for a build that someone spent 10x as much for a RGB AIO.

Excellent performance for the price
I'm using this with a 7500F and it keeps my cpu at reasonable temps even under 100% usage. Its a little louder than I'm used to, and the clips that hold the fan onto the heatsink could be designed better (as it is they bend the fins of the heatsink). But overall its great for the price and I'm happy.

A Great CPU cooler!
The media could not be loaded. Replaced my stock intel cooler which ran very loud. This is super quiet. Easy to install if you know PC. Looks Clean and the quality fells nice. Does the Job perfectly. It was a perfect size for my case that doesn't have much room.

Excellent value tower cpu cooler
I installed this into a smaller pc case and I could have gone with a larger tower cooler, but I had already purchased this for another build and didn’t use it for that one. This is currently sitting on top of an i5-14400f and is excellent at keeping temps VERY low. Surprisingly low. Now, I am using a contact frame for the lag 1700 socket because that’s a must, but wow. It sit around 60c during a cinebench r23 run. I haven’t seen it get any hotter than that.It seems inadequate, right? And maybe on higher power CPUs that may be the case, but I think this will work very well in most cases.

Works well and a nice budget option
I've probably purchased 10 of these and use them in various computers. I build gaming computers for a hobby. They work flawlessly and provide a lower profile CPU cooler option at a nice budget. Very happy with these and will probably purchase more in the future. They look good in a nice all black build and work as advertised.

loud, complicated to set up, fragile clips, squeeks, absolutely no redeeming qualities
Makes a squeaking noise every few seconds... obviously defective. clips were horrible, the entire installation process was complicated, its noisy. this is just one terrible terrible cpu fan.

It's alright if you need a 92mm air tower. Not impressed with the quality control though.
I bought this specific cooler for my cousin's HP Omen 25L desktop, since its case only fits up to a 92mm air tower and this one was pretty well priced. Installing and mounting the cooler was easy enough, and I was able to re-use that system's existing backplate. It reduced the load temperatures of the i5-10400 by about 10 degrees Celsius - stabilizing at 65 degrees Celsius. Pretty good for a case that's already lacking in airflow. The fan clips were a little confusing to install compared to the Thermalright, Scythe, DeepCool, and Vetroo coolers I have worked with in the past, and the manual makes no mention of where to put the clips. Just be careful when working with the clips, as there doesn't seem to be a proper handle to safely add or remove the fan to/from the fin stack.ID-COOLING's quality control is not the best upon first impression. Several of the fins came slightly bent on my unit, there was either some paint scratched off or white substance on one side of the cooler, and the print quality for the socket titles was pretty poor. I would say try to invest the extra $5 into a Thermalright AK90, I just worked with an X 120 from them and it definitely felt like a higher quality product.
