How to milk an Undead Dragon
I love this story! The artwork is charming and delightful and the concept is new and refreshing. In this world, vampires are 'born' when two vamps fall in love. Poof! Vamp baby! Trouble is, it takes 700 years for vamplets to grow up and they need a nanny in the meantime. Enter the human girl, Destiny Harper, who really, really needs a job! She gets way more than she bargained for as a nanny for supernatural babies. Vamplets, wolflets, and other little, bloodthirsty darlings she has to care for and feed. Yes feed and they all need their bottles of blood every day, so Destiny heads off to the undead dragon fields, babies in tow, to learn how to milk an undead dragon! Hilarious! I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Duplicates the paperback edition
The book is cute and a sturdy (but short) hardback with an entertaining story. However I was looking for a sequel to the paperback edition (ISBN 9781632290946) that my daughter purchased at her school's Scholastic book fair, so I assumed "Book 2" was the sequel. Wrong! Apparently this was originally published in six separate comics/chapters, which were then compiled into three hardbacks (so this one, volume two, contains chapters 3-4), which were then compiled into the paperback she bought containing all chapters 1-6. So the book is good, but I'll be returning this volume because it duplicates what she already owns. I wish this had been clearer in the description.

Sweet read
I believe this is a really cute book you do need to have the other two parts part 1 and part 3 and it does kind of leave you wondering what will happen next

One Star
My daughter was VERY disappointed. All it was several chapters from first book. Don't waste your money.

Still insubstantial.
So there are a lot of things that need far more explanation and building. Why is everything so wound up? What is this curse? Why has it come about? Why do I have to buy a separate short to find out the adventures of the vamplets when it could be put in where it is? I am 2 books in and still highly confused as to a lot of aspects of this book.
