Bought these to replace the aging plugs on our Franke one and a half bowl sink. They were easy to assemble, have spare seals, and do the job perfectly.

Having mistakenly purchased a couple of 78mm drainer/strainers (because, naively, it hadn't occurred to me that the dimensions of plug holes might differ), and found them to be too small for my sink - still satisfactory at draining but rubbish at straining - I hastily returned to Amazon for a couple of these 84mm beauties, and they're perfect in every way. They look bright, the shaft is solid (happily longer than the ones that came with the sink when purchased) and you get two spare washers on top. The seal is 100% reliable, and the strainer operates very effectively.So, if, unlike me, you've measured up beforehand and know what size drainer/strainer you're after, and it's 83/84mm, I don't think you need look further than these.

This is a perfect replacement for our kitchen sink plug which must be about 20 years old. Quality of this replacement seems good although the metal is slightly thinner gauge. The seal is spot on though and I can't imagine it would fail for some years.

My search words were "Franke Sink Plug".When this came up I stupidly assumed that they would actually fit said sink.Not a chance. The bowl is not deep enough so the ball bearing does not reach the tube so cannot stay either raised to let water out or down to keep water in.
