Compact, Capable, and Surprisingly Sharp
This is a great mid-tier thermal camera for anyone who needs reliable imaging without spending thousands. It’s not a FLIR T-series, but it doesn’t need to be. I received my unit and immediately noticed a battery issues. After working with the seller the issue lies with the sleep state of the device. The seller is very responsive and very helpful. Once solved the battery lasts a long time. I bought this for spotting insulation gaps, diagnosing electrical issues, or water leaks. After putting it through its paces, I can say this compact unit punches above its weight. The 3.5" touchscreen is relatively intuitive and responsive. The live super resolution enhancement to 240 x 240 is surprisingly effective. The 25 Hz video recording is smooth enough for walkthroughs or documenting dynamic heat changes and the built-in storage handles video and audio recording. Covers a wide range: -4°F to 662°F. That’s more than enough for HVAC, engine diagnostics, or spotting wildlife heat signatures. Accuracy is solid—within ±2%, and it detects temperature differentials down to 0.05°C Compact and rugged. Survived a couple of drops without issue. IP54 rating means it’s dust-resistant and splash-proof—good enough for field use, even in rough conditions. Just get it and if you have issues contact the seller.

Amazing thermal camera, saved me a ton of money.
This is one of the best products I have purchased and has saved me a ton of money, I was able to see the cold spots in my home that needed a bit of extra insulation and it was extremely easy to use, it can also detect leaks but showing the cold or hot water patterns behind the drywall. I absolutely love this tool and I am extremely happy with my purchased. Oh yeah, I also amateur ghost hunt and it works Amaizing for that as well :) lol. Get one, you’ll love it no matter what you are using it for, it’s extremely accurate and great price.

Nice camera
This camera works well and has multiple viewing modes. It has helped me find cold spots in the house that needed to be adressed.

Fantastic for the price
I'm a maintenance tech and soon-to-be home inspector, and I love this tool. It has already helped me track down leaks and identify faulty circuit breakers—for the price, it's amazing. It features a 'hybrid' image mode that overlays the thermal view onto the normal photo, which provides excellent context. Since this is the first thermal camera I've owned, I don't have others to compare it to, but it works great for my needs. The only con—which isn't a huge problem for me now, It has a tendency to calibrate (freeze/click) quite often if you move the camera around a lot. It's not a major issue for me, but it slows you down slightly."

Dead on Arrival / Replaced by Company
Updated Review: The company reached out to us and replaced the unit via Amazon (not hand picked) despite the fact that we already returned the camera. The new camera works fantastic and has been excellent at finding thermal leaks in our house when the temperature is substantially different outside (i.e. hot summer). The distinguishing power of the sensors doesn't seem to be enough for small thermal differences, but it is enough for a homeowner. At the original $160 (2024) price, the camera is a great value and an excellent alternative to to a single point IR sensor (the cheap thermal guns at the big box stores). The only downside is the device takes a few seconds every time it calibrates, which is maybe once a minute. The device is more responsive as long as the battery is charged. Original Review: Thermal imaging camera arrived with no charge and missing screen protection peel. After several hours on the charger, the battery would not gain any charge despite the solid red charing light. I was able to briefly operate the camera via an external battery, but the interface was slow and occasionally the camera would lag out for a few seconds. Currently significantly cheaper than FLIR or other alternatives with coupon, but quality control is too poor to recommend. Manufacturer/brand is only two months old, Amazon exclusive, and appears to be from Vietnam/China - not USA based like adverts suggested.

Save yourself the time looking at every other option for these
This is a great unit for the price. I played with a different one, which was my first time trying one, and the other one was slow. Imagine trying to watch something that wants to buffer. It would jump around a lot. This one is very smooth and seems to work great. I have not had the means nor need to check the temperature accuracy because it is not necessary for my application, and I learned a lot about this type of device by watching some videos on youtube. I was surprised at how much there is to learn- they arent just point and click out of the box, but close once you understand a few core principles. My use if for looking at things like electrical panels and if you are comparing apples to apples, this does great. For example, looking at a row of breakers, if they're all the same before viewing through this, you can very quickly identify which ones are hotter. It really is a solid unit for the price, or period for that matter.
