Good hardware, but problems with Kindle app
This Chromebook 2-in-1 was delivered in perfect condition, and took less than 3 hours to set up (mostly waiting for OS updates). Since then, it has proven (in the first few weeks) to be durable and reliable, and it is VERY fast compared to my previous Chromebook (a Samsung 2-in-1 which is several years old). The only thing that I miss from a hardware standpoint is a built-in stylus that can be used for pointing and selecting when the keyboard mousepad is disabled because the laptop is in tablet mode.HOWEVER, this machine (unlike my old Samsung Chromebook) has big problems running the Kindle reader app. The app startup is unreliable (often the app simply shuts down before getting to the main screen or shortly after it gets there. Worse still, I cannot consistently download ANY book in my library to read.I reached Amazon Kindle support about the latter problem and was on the phone for about 45 minutes with a very capable support person. I thought she had solved the problem (by deregistering and reregistering my device on Amazon), and I was able to download a few books while she was still on the phone. But then, after shutting down the laptop to have dinner, I got on it again and found that the problem had returned. It has continued since then (for about 3 days).Fortunately, there is a reasonable workaround: I can use "read.amazon.com" (a web-based implementation of the Kindle app) to read books in my library. That works fine (so far), but there are a few small features of the app that I miss, e.g. having a caption at the bottom of the page to tell me how many minutes I need to finish the current chapter of whatever book I am reading. But the basic problem with read.amazon.com is that it does not allow me to read books when I am not connected to the Internet -- because, of course, the books are not downloaded and stored on the Chromebook. Hopefully, I won't need to do offline reading very often.I think Amazon's support for the Kindle app on Chromebook platforms is deficient -- they treat the Chromebook as an Android device, which doesn't quite work. And the support person that I spoke to only became aware during our call that the Chromebook is viewed as Android rather than PC, which did not help to resolve my problem.

My HP Chromebook
It performs great, but I wished the battery last a little longer.

Not for studing gaming or working
Not so good if you need more than games and do not want to use drive. intalling word was a nightmare, obs does not work, steam not available, programs related to hardware like razer synapse are not in this non pc neather phone, some programs related to android also does not work here.you have to reboot this think to dowload third party apps, like the one my university uses for online evaluation.tought It was gonna be a good adquisition but has a lot of limitations.Shame google btw, not the seller, the seller who did a great job

Does what I need it for
Very nice piece of equipment. I'm still getting useto the google operating system. I thought it ran windows but my mistakeI just use it primarily for study but it does just about everything else too. Probably could've got more computer for the money but I'm content. I wanted something with touch capabilities. All in all good purchase.
