This is my first Turkish teapot, and I have to admit, I turned to YouTube for instructions. It would have been helpful to have some included with the purchase. Once I understood the concept and the right tea-to-water ratio, it was straightforward to use. Simply boil water in the bottom pot, then add it to the tea leaves in the top pot, allow it to steep, and pour it into your cup, adjusting the strength with more boiling water as needed. The pot heats up fast, and I made sure to position the handles away from the heat source to avoid them getting too hot. The tea turned out excellent, and the process was enjoyable.
