Sony NPFZ100 Z-Series Rechargeable Camera Battery (Two-Pack) Bundle with Dual Charger (3 Items)

I will admit the original Sony batteries are expensive compared to offerings from other third parties. But they are made for Sony cameras and should give longer service over the competition. Charged straight from the camera they work well enough but charging from a car is poor, very slow. They are fairly small but hold a lot of juice. They are so much better than the W batteries that proceeded them. Long term durability is questionable as other reviews are all over the places. I do feel that Sony does want their branded batteries to offer the last 10% of functionality while the others are willing to offer 85-90 percent at a lower price. The Z batteries are the only ones where this trade off makes sense.

I trust the OEM Sony NP-FZ100 in my cameras (FX30 and FX3). Now I have extra two NP-FZ100 batteries! I know I paid more than a knock-off one, but I feel it's worth it. The KOAH charger worked flawlessly -- it shows the mAh as it is charged and stops when fully charged. If the price is just right, I wouldn't hestitate the real OEM batteries!!

Great to be able to charge two batteries at one time. The display is weird in that it cycles between showing the status of each battery. It flashes quickly between the two with little rings around a lightning bolt icon. But you don't know what the scale is - how many rings is a full charge? It would be simpler if it just displayed both battery's status at the same time with a percentage instead of the goofy rings. Time to full charge would also be nice to see.

When you are seriously using a camera for business or expert pre-professional you never know when you will need more energy, so be prepared.

The batteries appear to be genuine Sony batteries because my A7CR camera doesn't scold me for using 3rd-party batteries. The charger works with a higher amp usb power hub. My earlier 3rd-party hub wouldn't charge at 4A/5V. You save a bit compared to just buying Sony batteries, so a good deal.

The batteries were just fine...no issues. The KOAH charger was crap. I kept the charger plugged into a USB port AND plugged into a wall and the stupid "rigs" just kept blinking and blinking....An hr later I hadn't gained ANY charging percentage on the installed batteries. I was looking for a good travel charger and this defiantly isn't it. I'll jut use the charger that came with my Sony A7RIV.
