How much better is the night driving with this setup?

These lights can be way better if you swap out the regular bulbs for LED bulbs. You have to order the small lights with the narrow shift because of the narrow hole in back of housing. But with LEDs, all lights are much brighter, not to mention it has new outer lens. OR...you could sand your old ones clear, and put the LEDs in them.

Where does the running lights plug into

Running light will plug directly in to original running light bulb socket. Similar to changing out the bulb.

What turn signal bulb needs to be used? Do I need 2 or 4 bulbs? Is the amber reflector just a reflector or does it function as a signal as well?

Hello, I bought these lamps, you will only need 1 Regular 2 pin amber bulb per lamp; the side reflector is a led amber light already installed and it does not work as a turn signal light; it lights up when you set your guide lights on (as well as the led withe bar). The original harness will fit perfectly!
