Good, sturdy plates that don't fly off!
I've recently started as a driving instructor, and wanted a set of magnetic plates for times when using my roof box isn't suitable.Bought these based on the reviews (having tried cheaper ones before - including "AA" branded). I'm glad I did!They stick well and haven't flown off at any speed or weather condition. I even forgot to take them off whilst jet-washing the car - didn't budge at all!I have damaged the corner of one plate (I dropped it - my own fault), but they are overall fantastic! Perfect (legal) size, easy to use and wipe clean quickly and easily. For a little over £5, I'm well impressed!I recommend these to all of my students looking to do private practice outside of our lessons.Top-tip: wipe the bodywork and back of the plate clean before applying them (saves your paint).In short: Cheap, work perfectly, stay on the car even at 70mph in torrential rain and wind. Ideal!

L plates that don't fly off
Bought these after having a few of the AA magnetic plates fly off at 50mph.These L plates are much thicker and hold much firmer, they felt firmly stuck down and had no more issues with plates flying off at 50mph. Well worth the money.

Good Magnetic L plates
Easy to attach to car, size is standard for L plates. Magnetic strength is great with a little flexibility to attach to car with less than flat surfaces, however where there is no metal to the front of the car ( plastic grill) then attaching the L plate was problematic as there were no holes to use an alternative method of attaching the L plate to the grill so we had to attach to the bonnet

Fully magnetic. Easy to apply. Stuck well on Kia picanto and didn't scratch when easily removed

Great quality and stick really well. I would recommend this over the ones that have the magnetic strip that sometimes comes off. Although good grip, they are easy to come off by hand and do not leave any scratches.
