Tight calves? This board can help!
Why I bought: My wife has been dealing with some foot issues and tight calves. This was a great solution to help her stretch out and is portable so that she can take it to work or move it around the house easily. It appears to be very sturdy and is easily stored. I find that the value is excellent as well as many other similar products can be up to the $50-$60 range. My only gripe is that the board itself is a fairly big size, I think I'd like it to be slightly smaller but that's just me. Otherwise, considering, value, function, and material, it's a 5/5.

Loving the Challenge!
This is a small but challenging tool. It comes all ready set up, so there is nothing you have to do but open it and find the notch you want to use. If you are smart, you will use the lowest one, because the stretch is intense! Definitely go slow and build up gradually. Also, I find it easiest to stretch in reverse, with my toes closest to the ground and my heel at the top. I can even do squats in this position. I also use it the other way, but it's just a lot harder when your calves are getting the full stretch because your heels are low and your toes are up. Either way, it's really sturdy and comfortable to use.

Sweet relief for years old Charlie horse from H***!
TL;DR: I got a monster Charlie horse from riding improperly on a kayak, suffered the lingering injury for over two years, and this thing is the only thing that has ever helped! Two years ago my friend convinced me to squeeze myself onto his one-person ride-on-top kayak to take a spin around the lake, while he was also on it, taking up all of the comfortable space. I was on the floor of the kayak with my legs scrunched up wierd. This is one of the few regrets of my life.At first it was fun, despite the awkward sitting arrangement. Looking into the water, seeing all the little fishies. But as time went on, my leg was a ticking time b***. I was cramped into a very awkward position, not suspecting anything, just trying to be in the moment with my friend on a gorgeous summer day. Then, all of a sudden, the charlie horse from H*** struck me. It was a MONSTER. The pulsing and throbbing were RELENTLESS. My leg was no longer under my own control. My muscles had gone completely rogue on me. I was flailing in a panic, trying not to capsize the new kayak while also trying to find some relief for my leg, and there we were in the middle of the water, many paddles away from land. I had extremely limited freedom to move around on the cramped kayak. My leg was in TROUBLE. I heavily considered throwing myself into the water just so I could straighten my leg and move freely, but did not want to risk accidentally throwing my friend overboard as well. It was TORTURE.I was an idiot to put myself in such a cramped position in the first place, I know. What a clown. It felt like forever before we reached land. I was streaming tears. My leg felt forty years older than the rest of me. I crawled onto land on all fours. When I finally stood up, I was hobbling. The next day was very demanding. We had a fishing trip planned, which involved covering long stretches of rocky shoreline and jumping from boulder to boulder. I had to go very slowly, and rely more on my non-dominant leg. If I was a gazelle the lions would have gotten me for sure. Even so, this probably made my Charlie horse even worse. Again, what a clown!I walk miles every single day for work, can't take time off work. There was no opportunity for this Charlie horse to heal, no matter how I stretched or stayed hydrated. Even if it wasn't pulsing and cramping, the knot that formed that day was always there, always an imminent threat. For years, I had to be careful. No more standing on my tip toes for too long. Careful about how I jump or run. No more stretching my legs out in bed without cautiously limiting that leg. My friend made fun of me. The charlie horse was now a part of my identity that I had not asked for. I could feel the tightness even when I was just resting. The only thing that ever brought any relief to my charlie horse was standing on a slanted surface such as a hillside, with my toes significantly higher than my heel. Then I got the idea to find a surface like this to put in front of my kitchen sink.My house is basically from the dinosaur age and has no built in dish washer. This means that I am the dishwasher, and must stand in front of the kitchen sink often and for extended periods of time. Then I found this device. It has been in front of my kitchen sink for a day and I use it briefly every time I walk by, and whenever I wash the dishes. FINALLY my charlie horse is getting the deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep stretch it so desperately craves! Now I can stretch my leg out again without fear of the charlie horse acting up. I wish I had found this thing sooner. Stretching without it just doesn't do the trick, not with a wall, not by hand, not with stretchy bands, nope. This thing was the cure. It's so good I almost want to call it magical. The relief it provides is magical for sure!!If you have a charlie horse, don't hesitate!!!The grip is sufficient, the design is sturdy wood and folds up flat for storage or travel. Absolutely worth the money. Yes. Buy this. Buy one for everywhere you have to stand for long periods of time. Send your charlie horse to the glue factory! Lol

Clever design in affordable wood
Well-built. Arrived in bubble wrap, thankfully, considering the delivery driver left the cardboard shipping carton too close to the rain on the front porch. Adequate tread on top. I wear size 10 women's shoes; plenty of room. Useful angles. Pose/stretches pamphlet included. Check with your PT first, of course.Value for money:AffordableDesign:Ingenious. Variety of useful angles to choose from. Slip resistance:I use it on carpet but tried it on tile for the purposes of this review. It was fine.Weight:Easy to carry around

Sturdy but too high on lowest slant
It’s a nice slant board but I need to agree with lots of the other reviewers who indicated the lowest slant is too high. It’s usable but I would have liked it a little lower, as I am using it for knee PT. Otherwise, I think it will be fine to use for what I need it for.

Not a stretch to buy!!!
Two weeks in, this device has been an excellent purchase. I have one of the plastic calf stretching devices. Still use it, but this is different in build and use for me. Much improved bilateral stretching and alternating leg exercises/stretches are possible. I was worried it might be a knock off or subpar. I am over 200 pounds and this is working fine for my weight and range of motion. Love the ability to adjust to different angles and modify the stretch/exercise. Within two day I bought one for my sibling and their spouse. I’m of age that maintaining and improving flexibility are almost more important than weights so I use this daily. After longer runs and post leg day, this is still very welcome. Using it daily at present.Quality: much more sturdy than I anticipatedMaterials: real wood, good grip/foot placement. Latch is reasonable.Design: very adequate. This is my only multi angle device like this, so for me, it’s perfect. was worried that there might be fewer angles or that the device would awkward such that any savings was not worth it.

Great product
Very well made though I am using the easiest level right now. I like how it fits into itself with a latch and I can store it away easily. Great price.
