Worth the price. Applied easily and worked well with the gold leaf I used.

Worked very well! The glue was thinner than I expected, which was actually perfect since I wanted to get thin lines. I put it in a small squeeze bottle with a very narrow tip and it worked well. A great way to add metallic accents to my paintings.

I am a beginning gilder. after watching a LOT of youtube videos, i decided that Elmer's glue would do just fine.it didn't. many, many tries, all unsuccessfulTHEN i thought i'd try it with real glue for gilding. this was the cheapest one. it worked GREAT from the very first item- a world of difference!The directions say to wait about a half hour and then it will work for TWENTY-FOUR HOURS! I have not tried it yet anywhere close to the 24 hour mark, but it works GREAT at the half hour mark! i'm so glad i found it - it was getting very depressing until Bluebird!!

Worked well with the gold leaf

With a consistency like that of kefir, it can easily be brushed onto the surface to be gilded, and it does indeed dry to the requisite tack in 20-30 minutes. I re-gilded an antique Turkmen ring that was originally fire-gilded, but the gilding had worn-off over the past 120-odd years, using this and real 18kt gold leaf. It turned out very well, I think.
