Quickshine Brass and Copper Bath

Try it. Wish I had done so much earlier but better late than never. Easy to use and very effective. Not cheap but four sachets in pack. Well worth it

Amazing stuff I have some intricate brass figures that are impossible to clean and this got into every crevice and now in minutes they are shiny as new.

I used this product to clean up some tarnished Victorian brass window catches. It does clean a lot of the tarnishing and the items definitely look cleaner, but not quite like the 'magic' picture on the packet. The advantage of the product is that it reaches the parts others like Duraglit and Brasso with a cloth cannot reach and it's very easy to use. Anyway I have refitted the catches and they do look much better.

Saw reviews for this product and decided to take a punt - was not too hopeful if I'm honest. We have a copper garden ornament outside and subsequently it gets VERY tarnished. Spent around a week last year using metal polish to restore the shine (it reflects the sun beautifully) but was not looking forward to doing it again. Anyways, we read the instructions, mixed the solution, submerged the copper and waited - we did leave it overnight. To say we were surprised is an understatement! Buffed with a little metal polish and a duster and a week was condensed to an evening! It is a bit pricey but it's saved so much time and effort and it was that easy that we've decided to try it every year.

What a fantastic product! I had two brass items to clean so I dunked them in the solution and they were clean within a few seconds! I just scooped the water solution over them with my hand. No scrubbing or rubbing. Couldn't be easier.

Bought to restore some old brass sash window catches that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a decade. All the catches were soaked for twenty minutes plus in hot water with one of the sachets. The results were mixed. The more tarnished of the catches didn't improve much but the less tarnished catches came up very well after a quick wash and polish with a clothe. I'd say that if the brass you want to clean is really bad then maybe it's best to use old fashioned elbow grease and Brasso but if the items aren't that bad then give this product a go. It could well save you hours of mucking about.

I used it during a restoration project of an old railway car. The seats each have brass "D" handles on the top corner for flipping the backs. It worked great! Just gave them a final buff with a buffing wheel.

On hard to reach crevices such as by the tail and near the eyes I used a small toothbrush to loosen stuff up, very minimal, while items were still in the cleaner. My items soaked for 30 minutes while we ate dinner. Simple to use and followed instructions.

purtroppo 'Quickshine - Bagno Ottone e Rame' non fa quel che promette. inseriti gli oggetti di ottone nella miscela di prodotto e acqua bollente alle dosi consigliate e per il tempo indicato (5 minuti) non tornano lucidi. Dopo l'immersione l'ottone diventa rossastro tipo rame. Posso solo dire che tutto sommato, dopo ore di immersione, riduce leggermente il tempo di strofinamento necessario per ottenere una buona lucidatura con sidol o altro equivalente.

la verdad es que queda bien y eso que no daba un duro por el producto. Pero como había probado de todo y no quedaba satisfecha con el resultado me decidí a comprarlo. Hace efecto en poco tiempo y lo deja bastante pulido
