Vanilla Bay Women's Strapless Full Length Maxi Dress with Pockets

Love this dress! I ordered the olive green and the color is very rich. It fits great! I wear a 12-14 normally, ordered the large and the fit was perfect. I am 5"6 and the length is just below my ankles. The pockets and fabric make this dress one of the most comfortable items of clothing I've ever owned. My sister ordered a dress that looked just liked this one from one of the other sites, I loved the look of hers, so I ordered one. This one from Vanilla Bay is, IMO, a much better fabric. Hers was a thin cotton material, this one is the jersey material and much softer. No problems with being "see through" with the dark olive. I highly recommend having one of these dresses in your closet!

Wow! The reviews were great, but the dress is even better. For reference, I ordered a large in Dark Wine. A beautiful color, not purplish at all. I'm 5'8" and 140-145 lbs. 36C-30-38. Silky soft material and flattering cut. I love the pockets, I wish all dresses had them. I usually wear a medium, but after reading reviews, I ordered a large. I'm glad I did. The only thing I could possibly say needs improvement would be for slightly more ruching across the bust, but I get it, I'm a 36C and that probably stretches the material a little more so if you're a smaller bust, it will look great. Also nice to note, this dress just skims the floor when I'm barefoot, that's nice as sometimes maxi dresses aren't long enough on me. I'll be ordering more colors soon.

This is a pretty, well-designed dress made with a slightly tighter inside chest panel than the outside - which is ideal for a nice fit and look while not wearing a bra. The material is a like a soft, dressy t-shirt material; the black is a nice shade. I fell in love, wore it once, and the chest area stretched out and now it won't stay up. I am a skinny size 4, but my chest size is 33C; the size Small dress still stretched out on top a little too much. So I would recommend for ladies with a little meat on your bones if you want it to stay up. If you have sensitive skin, the inside-chest area may be too scratchy for you. Finally, the pockets are great are sewn so that they are flush with the dress, and don't make it stick out. Pretty dress!

I love this dress. I usually do not like maxi dresses for myself because I am not very tall, however this dress is flattering for anyl height. This dress is very comfortable and flattering. The material is fantastic with great draping. I love having pockets on a dress, but often they add bulk to your hips, this one does not at all. The top part can be a little snug on larger chested women. I am 5'4" , approx. 120 lbs. and a 34D. The small fit perfectly but the chest area is a little snug with a lightly padded strapless bra and stretches out the ruching a little more than I would like, but it does fit. The length is a little long on me, I have to lift it to walk, or I could easily have this hemmed. I am not very tall and often have to hem dresses. I am going to try the medium to compare. I would HIGHLY recommend this dress. I do not write many reviews, but I felt this was worth recommending. If you are on the fence I would try it. I have this in Navy, Black, Atlantis and Red Orange. I do think the darker colors are more flattering if you are concerned with showing all curves, and the lighter colors can show darker colored under garments. This dress works great as a coverup as well.

I love this dress! I'm in a wheelchair and most the time maxi dresses are way too short or way long on me where I would run it over. This was the perfect size and length! I am 5"4 and 115 and a small fit perfect. I am all about comfort and this was perfect plus it is adorable! I love the pockets but the so not work for my phone (when sitting in my chair most pockets don't work) and it just dumped my phone out on the concrete. My ID did fit well in the pockets but I would not trust them pushing myself around.Overall I love this dress and plan on buying more in a different color/print.I do have wedges on in the picture so with flats it was just about covering my toes.

Like the style and material, fit was good, color was as expected, but there was a small stitching error in the top that caused a buldge on the side no matter how to tried to adjust it. It was too noticeable to ignore, so had to send it back. :-( It was also very long for me. Unless you want to wear a heel with it or are taller than 5'5, it would probably drag the floor...Keep in mind I'm about ~134lbs. I wanted to wear it casually with flip flops or flats, so I don't know that it would work for me. However, if it weren't for the stitching problem, I probably would have kept it, because it was comfortable even if it was a little long. Plus, it has pockets! I love pockets on a dress for some reason. I think I would order again if the price were right.

I'm 5'2", 137 lbs, and jusst had a baby, so my belly is still quite large. This dress is very flattering on my lumpy post baby figure. It gives me shape by drawing in under the breast while flaring out at the right point to minimize my ample after-baby stomach. It is extremely cool and comfortable but not sheer. I really like the way the top fits tight enough to stay up well but without giving any weird armpit lumps. It seems like it will be quite easy to nurse in. I am very pleased and will probably buy another. The only sad thing is that it is 5" past my feet, so I am popping it in the wash to see if I can shrink it and hopefully avoid hemming it.***Edit*** I washed the dress on hot and dried it on hot, and now it just goes to the ground (with bare feet). I think I am not going to hem it because I wanted it to be quite long, and it may shrink a little more. I'm so pleased that in addition to the charcoal, I ordered the olive and red wine.
