I’ve been using foam ear plugs at night to help with sleep for a lot of years and they worked great. My doctor recommended I try silicone ear plugs so I gave these a shot. Been using them for a few days now and what I’ve found was they do keep the noise out, but if you are a side sleeper like I am, you may find them discomforting like I did. And yes I did have them inserted correctly. So if you are not a side sleeper or plan on wearing these while at a concert or any other loud event I would highly recommend these. If you are a side sleeper like I am I would not recommend. I’m going back to foam ear plugs.

As compared to the basic loops ear plugs these have similar protection for about half the price. They are comfortable for all day wear and sleep. Work well. I'd say the decibel reduction is accurate.
