I already had a set of the smaller 6 ounce size I love - but they are not quite big enough for some things so I have been on the lookout for a 10-12 ounce pudding type dish that could go in the microwave. I was happy to find pyrex had this size to fit the bill. They are so handy - from ice cream to warming up vegetables and sauces they are just the perfect size and I can stick them in the dishwasher. Since they are clear glass they look nice too. Highly recommend!

Great little bowls which are perfect for dessert, yogurt, or those looking for smaller portions. They stack neatly and are nice looking without any fuss. They are great for prep work such as mixing spices, separating egg yolks, etc. I can get a ton of them in the dishwasher top rack because they will can wedge in just about anywhere. Since they are Pyrex, they can handle microwave prep such as melting butter and blooming yeast without any danger of discoloring. We started out using 12 of them and keeping the other 12 in storage for later use, but they are so functional for prep work and popular with my kids that all 24 of them are in use without cluttering up the cupboard since they stack so nicely.
