My son got this for his 10th birthday and he absolutely loves them!

The are a good read at any age.

I've been reading these to my son before bed and it was just the little push he needed to want to dive into D&D more. Now I have books to possibly run kid campaigns with. Reading level is probably age 10 or higher, my 6 year old struggles to read them on his own due to the bigger words.

These books were kinda smaller than I thought they would be. Could be an oopsie on my part, it just kinda looked like they'd be a bit bigger. For being small, they have some good info. They're also paperback, in case that's important to anyone.

We own both sets of these books and my daughter, who is ten, loves them. I play D&D with her and my other daughter. My ten year old is into lore and different types of creatures, animals, races, and monsters. I now find he asking me if we can fight certain things in their game.
