How long is the plastic tube for draining??

It’s long enough but this product sucks. It’s best to go on and buy a fish tank drain pump like I ended up doing.

I want to put this inside the bottom of a large indoor planter, what is the clearance of the lowest suction hole?

The lowest hole looks to be about 1/4 inch from the bottom.

How does this work when u use a pool pillow in middle?

I don't use a pool pillow, but if your pillow is in the center, put one at each end of the pool (my pool is oval) and it should work fine. I think they work extremely well and I have been using them for years.
