Comfortable to hold.
A lovely controller that feels comfortable to hold. I love that it does not have any rubber grips as those seem to get dirty pretty easily. Has all the functionality you want and then some. Turbo buttons and programmable back paddles. The RGB is also nice and can be turned off to save battery. Works Wireless AND wired. Hall effect sticks feel much better than normal joysticks. Great value for money.

Easy SMX Wireless Controller
I collect controllers, so I've seen my fair share, and I've had a couple of EasySMX controllers, and I see them favourably. This controller is no different. I was drawn to this controller specifically because of the 2.4Ghz dongle, as I wanted it for streaming over my Chromebook. Using wireless reduces input latency considerably over Bluetooth, but this controller also allows for Bluetooth so there is a good amount of connectivity. I think it looks fantastic, I really like the design and the RGB colours really add some flair, but the drawback is that it drains the battery life faster. With that said, I think the battery life is more than acceptable with it on, but the option is there if you don't want it. There's a lot of functionality with the controller as well, offering rear buttons for those who want it. Using it on a rather lacking in power Chromebook to stream over Game Pass or Luna, I've found very little lag. It's impressive, but of course, your internet connection plays a part here too. It's good to remove as many obstacles as possible when streaming. The face buttons feel good, they are raised fairly high so there's a little longer travel time than some controllers, but there's no resistance to them either. They feel very clicky. The D-pad is okay; this is usually where a controller fails, but this has one of those 8 Axis circles rather than a cross, so it gets points in this department, but the quality of the D-pad isn't the best either. It's responsive and I've had no issue with accuracy, so overall it's good, not great. The bumper buttons are fine. There's low travel time, but weirdly, these feel slightly more mushy than I'd like, when usually these are the most clicky. The Analogue triggers are my least favourite. They're quick to pull, so decent enough for FPS's FPS-type genres, but there's very little resistance to them, so in my opinion, they're not as favourable for driving titles. The Thumb Sticks are great. I'm really happy with these. That leaves 5 front buttons in the middle, including a home button. These are decent all around. The controller is comfortable to hold and has a medium weight to it. That makes me think that it's not the cheapest materials used, nor are they the best, but overall, I think it's good. The presentation is also very good. Very suitable for gifting. The Dongle is in the box, but it might not be so obvious at a quick glance. That leaves the price. At £33.99, I think it offers very good value for money. It's currently on offer for £22.59, which I think is a fantastic price and well worth it. I'm very happy with this controller, and it does exactly what I want.

A surprisingly good system if a little fiddly initially.
I took a chance on this. (Black Friday deal for £20) I wasnt expecting much but something that would kinda work as my old controller started drifting so it was a replacement for that. I don't game on controller much but some games are just better that way. All that being said, its actually quite a classy unit. I've got big palms and it fits well in my hands even though a touch smaller than perfect. Connecting to the PC wasnt straight forward. You have a series of 4 LEDs that give you codes for what mode you are in (the manual is tiny and tricky for my 48 year old eyes) This felt a little cryptic at first but I managed to get it connected to the 2.4g dongle. No drivers were required on windows 11. I have not tried to pair this with IOS or switch. build quality is of good standard. It doesnt feel light or heavy. the grip underneath is a fine crosshatch with a matt smooth finish on top. I wont say I care that much for the aesthetics but I didn't buy it for that. its not an insulting design. Your young one may like it or hate it. The RGB is well... flowing rainbow initially but you can turn it off or pick a standard colour and settings for changing . Frankly, its not something I need but I'm sure others will like their battery used on such settings. You have the choice so thats important. There are 2 vibration levels. more or less with an off option too. Cool thing is, you can power it while using the item. That's a plus. With 1000mah battery life, I cant imagine how long it will last but its 25% more than most. with USBC for direct connection to the PC or to a phonebank, all works out fine. As a gift for a family member, the packaging is a bit clinical. Very white with a window showing the item all in plastic. I'd imagine your young lad looking at it with a "aw thanks mum" that didn't completely sell but I think after they have a go with it, you may get a "This is actually really good mum" and a hug with extra squeeze. If they are after the name brand joypad, just give them a knowing look with a "give it a try first. I know a guy who recommended this for you" At £35 its worth it and you wont feel overcharged. At £20, I'm incredibly happy. excellent value for money. Additional: when i plug it in, it instantly uses the USB. The second i unplug it, it went to the previous setting at 2.4g. very convenient.

Worst SMX Controller, buy the 05
TL;DR - Avoid this, buy the SMX-05 instead So the biggest complaint is the RIDICULOUSLY weak 2.4ghz wifi connection, as it can be disrupted 100% by your leg. Less than 8ft/2.5m from the dongle. No, really. Also it suffers from input lag even with direct line of site of the USB dongle. Also, I've noticed whilst playing Elden Ring there was SLIGHT drift on the right stick, my game was slowly rotating. It won't get you killed, but it males me wonder if the Hall Effect claims are true. The only reason I don't return it is because, at time of writing, the EasySMX-05, which is their best controller IMHO, is out of stock, and I need a controller. You'd be better off with something like the 05, a competing brand like PowerA, which are phenomenal from my experience.

Very good controller for the price
Great little controller, managed to nab it while it was on sale so even better, works great on my PC with steam, I have it hooked up to the living room tv and it's a good 2-3 meters away and there was no issues with connectivity using the included dongle, only strange thing I've found is that the rumble motors keep going very gently for a while after they are supposed to have stopped, but it in no way effects gameplay so it's all good, the RGB is nice but not needing to look at the controller it makes no difference weather it's on or off to me 😂, keep it off to keep the battery life a bit longer

El artículo no sirve, de repente tarda en reaccionar con las pulsaciones o de plano no hace nada, de tanto en tanto la cámara se mueve sola, un muy mal artículo, solo lo use 20 min y fue suficiente

I love this controller. The ergonomics are downright amazing and it has a very nice Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom inspired design. The controller feels premium and the build quality is solid. It works fine out of the box (at least on my Linux Mint 22/Ubuntu 24.04 PC), but a little setup will make it even better. The wireless dongle came pre-paired to the controller. This makes it easy to pick up and play, but I found there was a slight delay on it. Back and forth comparisons to an old Logitech confirmed a VERY tiny delay. If you don't play precision games (I was doing my testing by repeatedly doing the Radiance fight in Hollow Knight), you won't notice this. I only noticed this in wireless mode, and I was able to fix it by pairing it to my Switch and then re-pairing it to the original USB PC dongle. You probably won't figure out how to pair it to the dongle yourself but if you read the manual it explains it very clearly. This controller works great on the Nintendo Switch, but you may want to rebind the face buttons. This controller is labeled using XBox layout (XABY, but in a different arrangement to Nintendo's), and when you use it on your Switch it works as labeled, not as Nintendo arranges it. This is a quick and easy process in the Switch menu if your muscle memory is causing you issues. The RGB can be turned on and off with a physical switch on the controller, so you don't need to install any unnecessary software. I opened it up to check if they're really using hall effect joysticks, and it seems like they are. One end of each stickbox read K-Silver and the other read Hall. They seemed to be some sort of low-profile stickbox, based on some other controllers I've worked on in the past. I couldn't see any other markings but I've attached pictures in case that helps anyone. The screws seemed unnecessarily difficult to turn, and the battery was mounted on this paper tape that tore and had to be glued back down when I tried removing it, but otherwise the build quality was top-notch. One thing I really liked was that the button pads had these pull-through attachments on the circuitboard, which made getting it back together way easier than normal. I had a few other minor issues, but I was able to resolve them using the included manual, which is very clear and concise. This is a good thing, because a lot of the special features are fairly unintuitive to enable and disable. Overall this is a fantastic PC gamepad with outstanding ergonomics. If you need a controller for your PC, this is a very solid choice.

This is the second game controller I've ordered from EasySMX, and it may be my favourite. The X15 offers many of the features gamers are looking for, provided you aren't looking for Xbox console compatibility—though it operates exactly as one on PC only. The X15 is also compatible with Switch, iOS, and Android devices. I like the design choices for the X15, from its artic camo print to the RGB lighting effects around the joystick bases, D-Pad, and the outer edges of the controller. The RGB lighting can be turned off via a dedicated switch underneath the controller. There are several pre-programmed colour modes and the LEDs are very bright, and vibrant, and the brightness levels can be adjusted as well. The Hall Effect Joysticks and Triggers have a good feel in hand and should provide a drift-free experience. Another nice feature is the two programmable buttons on the rear of the controller. These features alone place it ahead of many game controllers and at a price premium to the X15. The plastics in the build of the controller feel durable and it has some weight to it. If there was one upgrade request, it would be the addition of actual rubber grips versus the laser-etched fine carving featured here. The ABXY buttons are etched as well and I will say they felt more tactile and appreciated this feature over the usual smooth buttons. The D-Pad is excellent on the X15 and almost silent in use, which was unexpected. The dedicated option and menu buttons are located just like on an OEM Xbox controller so thankfully no user adjustments are required. With tri-mode connectivity, you can connect the X15 via the 2.4Ghz dongle, Bluetooth or the included USB-C to USB-A cable. If you choose wireless, the X15 is equipped with a 1000mAh battery and I never found myself in a position where my gaming sessions were interrupted, so I appreciate the well spec'd battery size. While no software is required to use the X15, EasySMX does offer firmware updates via their Discord. The controller I received already had the latest firmware and apparently, it addresses a wired disconnection issue for some PC users. I had no such issue during my testing, given I had the latest firmware. If you are looking for a great PC controller with those sought-after gaming upgrades, like the Hall Effect drift-free joysticks and programable buttons - I'd highly recommend the X15 based on my PC gaming experience with it. The build quality and overall feature set are excellent and at a commendable price savings versus many OEM game controller options.
