Why pay more for the Nespresso brand descaling solution when this product worked excellent. Was hesitant at first to buy but was happy with the results. Easy to use. Cleans scale completely. Took only one time saving me more effort than originally thought. Safe to pour down the drain when done according to the manufacturer. Would recommend trying for yourself.

Used to use vinegar and water and it worked fine with the municipal water in my area, which is not hard at all. Now that I am on well water, harder, there is more white residue. This stuff does a better job than vinegar with that. I can see the results in the reservoir. I have a Braun 12 cup. Never had a single serve machine so don't know how it works with those. Price is decent, too. It's apparently just citric acid, water and glycerin according to the label, nothing weird going on. I use 4oz per cleaning and run four pots of water through it after and I don't taste or smell anything but good coffee.

My husband buys this when it's time to descale our Breville. It always gets the job done, doesn't leave a strange taste behind, and helps us keep our beloved Breville cleaner longer.

The Essential Values Descaling Solution does the job, it clears out mineral buildup and helps my coffee maker run smoother. It’s easy to use and more affordable than some branded alternatives. However, the results weren’t noticeably better than using a homemade vinegar solution, and the smell during descaling is pretty strong. It’s a decent option if you want something pre-mixed and convenient, but not a game-changer.

Arrived well packaged. Used to clean a coffee pot I hadn’t used in quite some time. I followed the instructions and then ran an extra couple pots of just water through. Took the ppt to a funeral luncheon and several people commented in how good the coffee was.

Normalmente utilizaba el que recomendaba la marca de la cafetera (en mi caso Saeco®) y nada que ver, también lo utilizo para la cafetera Nespresso® y con igual eficacia, este limpia mucho más a fondo. Mi cafetera indica cuando debe descalcificarse, pero independientemente de eso, suelo hacerlo cada 2 meses y la máquina lo agradece. No es un producto barato, pero por los resultados obtenidos, volveré a comprarlo. Totalmente recomendable.
