Its a tea cup
It is a 10 oz which means only 8 oz can actually fill the small cup. The regular "coffee" cup on the right is 12 oz. When I drink "tea" without any fillers like milk or cream then I'll grab the smaller cup or what I call a "tea" cup. Wanted to return it but changed my mind. The tea cup set is actually pretty. I luv colorful Lenox mug sets so I'm guessing when another beautiful pattern comes out & on sale I'll buy it..but a 12 oz set.

These are really beautiful! They're thinner than I was expecting and as a result can get really hot. Handle with care, if you don't want to get burnt.

I love these mugs
I love these mugs. They’re the size of a proper English cup. They’re light too - this makes them perfect for older people. Tea always tastes better out of a porcelain cup. Excellent quality.

drinking in style
These cups are lovely. Hold up well in the micro and can be placed in a dishwasher (My dishwasher is a left and right hand.) I have had many compliments on these beautiful mugs
