Love these baking dishes! I needed new casserole dishes and these fit the bill perfectly! They cook food in the oven beautifully and are even microwave- and freezer-safe, though I have not yet used mine in either of those appliances but I'm sure they would do equally as well in those as in the oven. They are large dishes that each hold a lot of food. I made a baked macaroni first thing in this and I used the larger size. Two of us ate the originals and leftovers for days after. You do need to be a careful when using them because they are ceramic and CAN break, though mine thankfully have not. And two bonuses for me with these dishes are that they were available to ship to Canada in my favourite colour (purple) and they arrived WAY ahead of the projected delivery date. They arrived more than a week early. I was exceptionally impressed with that happenstance, because it has been my experience that usually things arrive ON the latest projected delivery date from the U.S. So for these to arrive before even the first date of the projected delivery date range was unexpected but wonderful. I'm sure I will enjoy these for years to come.

I got the yellow color. They are more like a muted mustard color. It is a nice color. Matches my plates. There are two sizes in this set one med one large. They are the best thing I have bought. I can bake in them, and place right on table, they are very pretty. I have only hand washed them, they are very easy to clean. I have not put them in dishwasher, but I do believe they are safe for dishwasher. I love these and plan on getting more. Good quality, and the color has not faded . I have used about 10 times, at least. . I have made au gratin potatoes, casseroles, Mac and cheese , and many others. I have not had any cracks or chips. I think for the price, the quality is excellent.
