I have been using the proglide shaver for last few years & I absolutely love it. Ofcourse the original has aged and is all worn out with daily usage - still going strong in terms of functionality. I decided to get a new one & that is when I picked up this package. Its rather simple actually - the box contains a sum total of 5 blades & a shaver ie Shaver with one blade cartridge fixed & a box with 4 additional proglide cartridges. Usually, one cartridge can last anything between 1-2 months of usage. Basically, this kit will keep you going for the next 6-10 months of daily usage. Amazon Prime packaging was wonderful as always & it was delivered within 2 days. All thanks to Prime - I am traveling on Friday & I managed to get it ahead of time. Coming back to the product - just getting a refill cartridge pack of 4 is close to 900rs so it was better value to pay 999 & get 5 cartridges + a new shaver. No brainer there. The Gillette box packaging I feel - while great - is also a bit of too much. The hard box containing the shaver + cartridge pack was big & heavy. Too much cost wasted on something useless & throw away. I think they should have saved the money & offered the combo at a cheaper price. Overall Proglide is an excellent shaver. I get a perfectly clean shave every time with no fuss or cuts. The strip on top which is supposed to be some kind of softner or moisturizer - will wash away within 3-4 shaves. But the shaver will continue to function for many weeks ahead. The reverse side has additional single glade to trim the side-locks. Always a welcome feature. The flexiball head & the spring loaded cartridge glides through the skin contours to give a close shave always. High quality product.

The whole packing of the box screams quality. These are the most advanced Gillette manual razors that you can buy in India. On the box, it mentions that the razor handle is made in Poland while the cartridges are made in Germany. Inside the box, we get 1 Gillette Fusion Pro Glide razor handle and 5 cartridges. The design of the razor is simply beautiful. It comes in stylish black colour with a rubberized grip. There are 5 blades in the front and there is a 6th Precision Trim blade at the back for nose and sideburns. The razor has this flexball which allows it to move smoothly along the curves of the face. There is also a plastic case for the razor to protect it. Gillette Flexball allows the razor handle to move, adjust and rotate according to a man's face. The flexball technology is just phenomenal and the razor blades are sharp and precise. The Gillette Flexball ProGlide Gift Pack is selling for ₹999 on offer but its original price is ₹1498. Gillette is right, this is the best a man can get.
