I have bought so many sharpeners that don’t work, essence is the best I’ve bought

Let's just say that its a good sharpener and did sharpen to a very nice point....however not sure what happened to it as after a couple of uses can't seem to be getting the same point. Doesn't have a sticky thing to clean anything that is stuck either.
