The only lactose free while milk I could find, and I'm grateful to have found it. Good quality and a decent price. I use it in baking, but also in making my own lactose free malted milk powder and also instant hot chocolate. If you are making lactose free malted milk powder be sure to get Non-Diastatic Barley Malt Powder as the diastatic is primarily for baking, you won't get quite as strong a malt flavor. It dissolves easily in my blender, haven't tried a spoon.

I followed the recipe, 2 Tbls per cup of water. I used room temp water, and it took a bit of stirring for it all to dissolve. It wasn't as creamy as whole milk. It was more like skim milk. I added another Tbls, and that was more like it. The taste isn't quite like milk, but pretty close. I drank a whole cup in a bowl of cereal and had no adverse effects after 2 hrs. This dry powder enables me to make milk as needed to drink, bake or to cook with in creamy sauces. I will definitely buy it again.

Disappointed in this milk. Ordered it to put in hot tea as I don't like using milk from the fridge which cools the tea down too much. This milk left a residue in the bottom of the cup so did not dissolve completely. It also left an aftertaste. I ordered this because I cannot get my usual dried milk anymore due to California laws and this one does not compare to my usual one. Way too expensive not to taste fantastic. I will try the recommended way to drink it (diluting it with water) but that defeats the purpose for which I purchased it.

Got the whole milk powder as a way to save fridge space. It smells very very gamey, it does substitute for stronger tasting drinks like coffee well enough, but for drinking on its own or using for cereal its gamey, not as creamy (even if you add less water), and less "sweet" then fresh store bought milk.It was very hard to stomach/swallow with cereal because of how gamey it was and I needed to add quite a bit of honey to cover the smell/taste.
