I did a lot of online research before choosing this light, and I'm very pleased with it. You can bolt it to a flat surface, or leave it free-standing and the base keeps it in place. It's got 3 colour/light effects which I don't think I'll ever use - I like the cool white shade the best.

Good quality product.Does exactly what it says.

Won't give 5 star as I am unable to use the part that fixes it to a table, far too small, I didn't want to use the large heavy base as it lifts the edge of it lifts my drawing board. The magnification is great, light is perfect, I'm pleased with it, just annoyed I can't fix it to the edge of my table.

Great value for money , the light is easy to use and really good for hobby’s . The base is of good weight and will not fall over .

Nice item well made and works well

I use this lamp nearly every day to light up my sewing. Because I use a hoop stand and sit in an armchair I can’t use the magnifying lens getting both working together was too frustrating tbh. I love the remote control saves me searching for the on/off switch. I have still used the magnifying lens for removing splinters and the surrounding light really helps in removing tiny splinters that would have had to be left to gradually get removed as skin is replaced
