Spigen Liquid Air Designed for iPhone 16 Case [NOT Compatible with MagSafe], [Military-Grade Protection] - Matte Black

I had a black Spigen cover for my Samsung S22. Fit well, not too snug, nice grip, aged well - I used the same Spigen case for the entire 4 years I owned it. Love the texture on the back, it is a bit distinctive, which looks good and is easy to pick out if your phone is on a table with other phones. Had black for my Samsung, but loving the green for my iPhone.

This case is exactly what I was looking for. It fits the phone perfect, has a good amount of protection from falls, has a nice grip to it and protects the screen savers when layed down on the face or back. The green color is a dark green. Its a slender case with good protection. Will definitely buy it again.

I really like this case! So much so that I ordered another one just to have on hand (original in Matte Black, new one in Abyss Green) - It is NOT compatible with magsafe accessories, which for me is a PLUS! I don't want extra magnets on the back of my phone and I have no interest in magsafe accessories. If you search for "iPhone 16" cases you will find that the majority have the extra magnets in the case, so if you don't want that there aren't a ton of options. - HOWEVER, it IS compatible with magsafe chargers! I use an Apple magsafe charger and it snaps into place and charges perfectly. - This is a slim no-frills case, but does feel protective. It has a nice lip for the front glass as well as a lip over the camera lenses. - I find the feel of the case to be sufficiently grippy and to me it is very pleasing from a tactile perspective. - The buttons have plastic covers over the actual buttons, but there is a bit of an opening on the sides of each one. I'm not sure of the reason for this, but the buttons work very well and don't require extra force. - I find that the cutout for the camera control works very well. Keep in mind that the new camera control is a bit fiddly under the best of situations. I mainly use it to open the camera and take photos or videos quickly. I am also able to access options like zoom and such, but I don't rely on the button as the main way to change options. Some cases feature a special button that covers the actual touch button, but I'm skeptical of that approach. Note that one advantage of the cutout on this case is it is very easy to feel for the button and activate it for a quick photo / video. - A number of review have mentioned that the lighter-colored cases stain easily. I have the dark versions, so this is not an issue, but I can easily imagine the light colors attracting stains that can't be easily removed. - In summation, I think this case looks good, feels good, has nice buttons and cutouts and provides good protection.

This seems to be an excellent case, with a great look and streamlined form factor. I was mainly interested in the texture for grippy-ness, and it's perfect that way. Not sticky or dust gathering like silicone, but still grippy enough to not slip in your fingers. My previous case was a replacement for the one I had before, but apparently my fingers are too dry now or something and the case was simply too darn slippery -- but nicely designed and elegantly simple otherwise. Also, it was better for mag-safe charging -- the Spigen is a slight bit thicker in order to imprint its texture, and therefore does not handle the mag-safe charger clinging very well. It does hold if in the exactly right spot, but charges less efficiently, hence my knocking one star off of what is otherwise a very nice and protective case. I wish it had mag-safe material embedded to extend the magnetic charger adhesion. UPDATE: Inspired by the textural pattern here I "enhanced" my other case (Torras Slim Fit) for grabbiness with scuffing and cross-hatched scoring which works great! See that review for photo.

Case fit perfectly, with a slim profile that protects camera and advertises "military grade." Haven't noticed it being slippery as some suggest. I'm grateful to a 5-star reviewer who has been using Spigen cases for years: Spigen did NOT show up when I did an Amazon search on first results pages even though it's labeled "Overall Pick" (?). I'll be back for another.

I got the case extremely fast, and I put it on my iPhone 15 right away! The build quality was amazing, it was comfortable, lightweight, and it just felt premium. Why did you pick this product vs others?: The build quality made it feel way better than other cases at this price point. It was very comfortable too. Wireless charging capability: It works good IF your wireless charger/product has a strong magnet. I tested it and it does actually charge! If you don’t have a strong magnet, expect it to fall off the charger occasionally. Design: The design of the back with that awesome pattern, and the sides, the buttons, all feels great. I don’t like heavy cases, and coming from an OtterBox to this case was a dream. I love it! Ease of installation: It’s so easy to install, you just simply snap it on and you’re done. One of the easiest case installations. So much easier than OtterBox Buttons accessibility: The buttons feel really nice and easy to press. The volume buttons feel great, and the power button feels nice and clicky. Quality: The quality, I could go on for hours about how nice it feels. The case is super lightweight and provides good protection for your phone. It is such a dream to use this. I love Spigen cases. Ease of cleaning: I haven’t needed to clean my case yet, but it seems easy to clean.

This case is amazing! The camera button is still very responsive (I was worried about how it would work with it covered), it’s not too thick and it feels and fits perfectly in my hand(s). The textured back is great! I had an other Spigen case before this one and I can already tell the liquid air is going to be my everyday.
