The clarity is superior and energy efficiency of the eInk/ePaper display is unmatched; I love the size and resolution of this product. This rPi hat fits all 40-pin Raspberry Pi's including the Zero series. It's easy to use hardware and versatile with the right software library (see Waveshare site). An 8-pin connector is included to interface withnother microcontrollers that can handle the SPI protocol. I also used this eInk display with the ESP32-S3 and ESP8266 MCUs; I'm certain the BBC Micro:Bit can control this display and hopeful for the rPi Pico so will update this review once successful. I'm very happy with this eInk hat and truly recommend it.

I got it in spite of some negative feed back on amazon about quality and durability.It works well with my Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and the paper white display is kinda neat.I am not holding my breath about the durability, since the feedback of other sizes seem to say it breaks or stops working in 4 weeks to 6 months if its gonna happen.Ill get back to you
