Very Impressed So Far
I have had this device in my 2020 Ford Escape for about a week and I have been very impressed so far. Something people should keep in mind is that infotainment systems are different from car to car so people with different vehicles will have different results. I am giving it 5 stars because it works better than I expected but it has a couple of shortcomings.I bought this device because my phone has a janky connector and was having issues connecting to wired carplay. We also have wireless carplay in our other car and I have gotten used to it.The device has basically two interfaces. an Android interface and the CarPlay/Android Auto interface. It takes over the wired CarPlay and displays what is essentially an Android smartphone screen with apps and even the Google Play Store so you can install additional apps. The built in apps include Youtube, Netflix, and Disney Plus. I was able to update those apps using the Play Store so you are not stuck with the version that is installed. I also installed Plex so I can watch videos from my home server (when I'm not driving I promise). You can also add an SD card with music and videos and watch that way. I have not tried that.I did not purchase the device for the Android interface but I am pretty impressed with it. I sometimes sit in the parking lot at lunch to watch YouTube and this will work much better than propping my iPad up on the passenger seat. One of the buttons on the Android interface is for CarPlay and when you click that, you can set up and use regular CarPlay just like any other wireless CarPlay device. This is the main reason I bought it and so far it has worked great. As far as drawbacks. Probably the biggest one I didn't expect is that the Android interface does not have built in Google Maps and no way to download it from the Play Store. I'm guessing this is because the device does not have GPS. If it did, I could probably just use the Android interface without CarPlay because it does everything else I want including Apple Music which I downloaded from the Play Store. Another drawback is that the Android interface needs wifi to connect to the internet but CarPlay disables the wifi hotspot so you can't easily go back and forth between CarPlay and the Android interface. I am not sure if I could switch back and forth if I used the car's built in wifi but I think CarPlay disables wifi on the Android device because I have had to reenable it each time I switch back.Another unexpected perk, and this might just be my imagination, is that it seems like music sounds much better through this device compared to wired CarPlay. This might be because my phone had a bad port but I swear it also sounds better than the car's built in SiriusXM radio too.

Stopped working
Product worked decent when it did work, I had it for about a few months. I had maybe one or two times where it just cut off completely and restarted or froze. Other than that it would work does have a slight bit of a lag. And you have to connect to your personal hotspot every single time you turn the vehicle on or off. To use any other features like YouTube or streaming. It does have a little bit of a delay, but not too much maybe two seconds.Unfortunately, it completely stopped working it doesn’t even recognize in my car anymore. I’ve tried to select the USB and the smartphone settings like I normally would no problem, but it completely stopped and gave out after it froze and stopped working . Unfortunately, it’s too late for me to return and get my refund otherwise I would.Don’t recommend anymore

Works perfectly in my 2023 F-150
The media could not be loaded. This works perfectly in my 2023 F-150. Super easy set up and easy to use. Great video quality and runs smoothly. One of my favorite new gadgets! For the price you can’t beat this one!!

Connection issues, lagging, works just annoying, slow connection not instantaneous
The product generally performs adequately; however, intermittent connectivity issues, including lag and occasional failure to connect, have been observed, necessitating troubleshooting. While the current functionality is acceptable, there is potential for improvement in this area, particularly considering the product's price point.

Tacoma 2022 random restart
Bought this for my Tacoma 2022. Worked well for about 3 weeks but then it started to restart randomly while I was driving. Apart from that it was good for $60 dollar while it worked to bad it didn’t so I’ll give it a one star. I would steer away from this item and go for more reputable brands with more reviews and higher ratings.

Quite easy to set up.
The product is beautiful. I am very satisfied and it works perfectly! Easy to set up, simple setup, it makes wireless CarPlay simple; can start using it right away.

It worked for streaming.
It worked great for wireless car play. The best way to describe it is a tablet software that uses your radio as a screen. The apple car play is housed on the device like an app and if you want any apps IE Netflix, you HAVE to use hotspot. I didn’t like how it stayed connected to my phone after turning my truck off and walking away. It doesn’t screen mirror. Which is why I’m returning it.
