Beautiful Pictures !
I have bought this two years in a row for my favorite birder. He loved the first one and asked for one the following year. Pictures are quite vivid and there is quite the variety of specimens. One one bird for the weekend so essentially you get 6 birds a week, not 7. Still a great gift for the birders in your life.

beautiful, useful
Beautiful, useful page-a day- small desk calendar, easy to use next to computer, wonderful real photos of diverse/varied birds from all over the world, a different bird each day. has only a little room at the bottom of the page to write down appointments. Fun and convenient. I have bought this or similar calendat for many years after initially receiving it as a gift from my father. I have always appreciated it and wouldn't want a year without one! It could make a nice gift for bird lovers who still use paper calendars. I do wish it mentioned the usual habitat for each bird as I think it used to, and had a separate day for weekend days, which it doesn't. (It does list both common and Latin names in small print below each bird.)

Now an annual tradition! Beautiful!
Toddler in the family loves birds! This is the second year I've given him this calendar - and the birds are all different! Toddler and his daddy read about one bird each day, as part of their breakfast together! They were thrilled to receive it again! New annual tradition ☺️

Delightful photos though they could be larger.
I am a bird watcher so it is fascinating to see so many different birds. I look forward each day to tearing off a sheet to see a new picture.

A Daily Smile!
Every morning when I tear off the calendar page, I smile. It's the start of my day.... my first cup of coffee and look at the date and today's bird pictures. I have been using these calendars for several years and I am addicted.... I keep thinking I could live without it but why? The torn off pages are also good for grocery lists, other reminders, random sketches, whatever.... some of the favorite bird photos are just nice to look at again and again.....

Poorer quality paper, ink, format, and size!!
I was given an Audubon “gallery” page-a-day calendar last year. The photos and paper quality, the format, and the easel were outstanding. We enjoyed it every day all year long. When I ordered this recently to give as a gift, the Amazon page indicated that it was the same format as last year except that it came with a more environmentally-sustainable white cardboard easel instead of the hard acrylic one used in previous years. The ad also stated that the format was the same size as last year, and that it also had individual (unattached) pages (that you move to the back each day). This one arrived and the paper quality and photo quality were poor, it’s much smaller in dimension, and there is no easel. The pages are glued on top — the kind that rips every time you take a page off.Since the time I ordered the calendar, the Amazon page has since been changed to reflect the more accurate description.I was very disappointed in the false advertising but I might have kept the calendar anyhow if it had been anywhere near the quality of last year’s. It wasn’t. The photos would be lovely if they were printed on a higher quality paper and especially with better ink and saturation. But they aren’t! There is no comparison whatsoever between this year’s calendar and last year.I am very disappointing that a truly beautiful product was ruined with poor quality paper and ink, a much smaller size, and a glued top. That type of thing might be okay for cartoons or other calendar subjects that you enjoy and then use for scratch paper — but not for calendars where the beauty of the photos are the whole focus and the reason to purchase one. This year’s lower-quality calendar is also way overpriced.I sent it back.

Great gift for bird lovers
I buy this calendar every year as a gift for my bird loving friends and family. Fantastic photography will take you around the world and back and introduce you with birds familiar and exotic.
