Never rusts
This is my second one, they stay sharp and never rust.

Very Sharp
This is the first and only ceramic knife I have ever used and it is very sharp and seems like a nice knife to have for outside use. I keep it in a cabinet outside near my pool for opening pool products or any other light duty work around the pool and don't have to worry about rust. It would be fairly easy to break or chip the blade, so it's not meant to be used for heavy duty cutting tasks like a regular steel knife. I like it for what I use it for.

For fishing AND personal defense
For fishing I'm sure they are great. My main reason for buying this was personal protection. It is perfect for the liberal gun free zones when you are in a bad area for say "an event downtown" and still need to be able to protect your family. These are super sharp so carry it in the sheath at all times. It did not have serrated edged and could not find one in black to help it stand out less.

The Sharpest Ceramic I Own
I own LOTS of knives, from pocket knives, to hunting knives, to kitchen knives, etc. I have cheap ones, expensive ones, ceramic ones, you get the point. This is by far the sharpest ceramic knife I've ever used. They usually come -slightly- dull for safety reasons, NOT this one. This thing is sharper than a new razor blade. Be smart, it's ceramic and WILL break or chip if you're rough. It's only $8 but will last a lifetime if you don't slam it into hard materials (even a wood cutting board will chip a ceramic knife) so keep that in mind. The design is very "tactical" with it's tanto-shaped sheath; kind of cool in my book. I don't take it fishing; I honestly don't think it's very good for that use, unless you're near salt water. A flexible blade works much better for processing fish. The second you hit a bone, it will chip. Use it in the kitchen, hand-wash it, and it will basically last forever.

Great knife for saltwater, boat, outdoors
The best attribute is that you'll never have rust on the knife or handle, making this a great knife to keep on the boat, in the tackle box, or toolbox. It's got a good sharp blade that seems to hold an edge well. The handle is easy to grip and doesn't slip. I wouldn't use this to pry things with, but if you keep to cutting you'll be happy.

Rapala quality down the drain....
Terrible knife! At first I thought it was pretty cool as a bait knife for fishing at the coast, made of ceramic so it wouldn’t rust and very sharp. On our 2nd day of surf fishing and using it only for cutting 12 inch whiting (about a dozen) the knife blade broke completely off where it meets the handle. I couldn’t believe that Rapala would make such a cheap product! I still have an old Rapala fillet knife from 30+ years ago that we ended up using for the remainder of our trip.

Good inexpensive option for cutting low-stretch UHMWPE line (vectra, dyneema)
I got this for splicing and other work with sailboat rigging. It's an inexpensive and very functional alternative to "official" rigging knives, enabling me to put more into other tools and the lines themselves.

Extremely sharp
I bought this to use as a general kitchen knife, and it certainly does the job. Like all ceramic knives, don't apply lateral force to the blade (shouldn't really do that with any knife). Very, very sharp; makes slicing veggies effortless, and I used it to cut up a grilled steak as if it were a pat of butter.

Although I tend to prefer ceramic scissors when splicing exotic rope, sometimes you need a solid ceramic knife to do the job. This is the best knife for the price. Good ergonomic hand fit, very sharp blade and has a good cover to protect the ceramic blade.

Tiene una hoja muy filosa. Una presentación muy bien lograda, liviano y por lo mismo muy frágil. Debe usarse con delicadeza ya que puede quebrarse fácilmente. Una bella pieza en mi colección
