Compact, Smooth, and Seriously Fast!
The SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Wireless is super easy to set up and feels amazing to type on. It’s compact but still very functional. The build quality is excellent, and it feels solid. Great value for the features, and perfect if you need a smaller, high-performance keyboard.

One of the nicest keyboards.
TLDR:It's just awesome. Recommended.General:So this is my first SS keyboard that I've tested, so I will be mostly comparing to Corsair.First and most important, the switches are really good... this keyboard should be compared/competing to Wooting mostly. Omnipoint 3.0 actuation range and general 'feel' is awesome. And before continuing, I should also note — and it's a good 'weak point' you could say — NOT EVERY SWITCH is Omnipoint, and this is more noticeable in the full version: Numpad, Arrow Keys, and Nav Keys are NOT Omnipoint. I don't know if they're brown/red switches, also not sure if OEM or another brand. Being realistic, this doesn't make too much sense.Build Quality:I find the quality just excel. I really really like the 'feel' of the keycaps, it's like you're not touching plastic. It's like some kind of metallic/rough feel but really smooth.Software:Now the top of the cake — and also issues: the software.I read all days people running into issues with GG Engine, Sonar and etc (SteelSeries Brand-Software). You should know that on Windows 11 you are very likely to experience some issue. I have W10 LTSC and I've been running really smooth, 0 issues. So, you can modify everything:RGB Config using prism, Sync RGB between devices. You also have people-made apps for game-sync with the keyboard, providing info, example:Playing LOL, sets the screen to dragon/baron timers, updates if someone slays them, sets YUIOP color depending if your teammates and you are alive or not and much more..Actuation strength from 0.1 to 4mm per individual keyYou can select groupsActivate SOCD and Rapid TriggerIt also has Protection Mode that's really usefulYou can set Meta Keys and double-level actuation (you can set a key to do two actions depending on actuation range)OLED, RGB and Feel:The OLED Screen is... well, it's just a nice thing to have. You can put gifs and it's really beautiful. It can also show game info, media info, and you have a volume wheel too. You can set actuation range from here. The RGB is really nice — I find it better than my Corsair keyboards, but that's personal preference.Wireless, latency and typing:I don't have any latency using wireless, battery duration is decent — not the best, but it gets the job. I use the dongle extension so I can charge it quickly if I have to.One final note about switches is that, IDK if it's me, but with these switches I can really feel the pressure I'm doing on the key and be precise.Wrist Rest:The magnetic wrist is solid and might feel not premium, but that's totally wrong. It has a really really NICE rubberish material and feels really comfy. The magnet doesn't even move.Profiles:Ending, you also have Quickset profiles (preset profiles made by people):Changing keys, actuation points, activating protection/rapid tap/SOCD etc. for each game, and you can set yours and make different profiles.Final Thoughts:I don't want to keep talking but I could review more aspects. It's a really nice keyboard.

Amazing keyboard, lightning fast and super easy to configure. Amazing build quality and not to noisy. It has a metal finish that feels great and looks even better.

Awesome keyboard
I upgraded from my Logitech G915 to this. I am going to say, for me, this was a smart move. This keyboard offers so many functions compared to the G915. I am a gamer, and still am trying to figure out how to use the new things this ketboard has to offer for my gaming (outside of using it to cheat in fps games). I am inpressed with the lighting. My old keyboard had lighting as well, but it was weak. This is much more vibrate and has punch. As well, my old keyboard did not light up secondary key functions. This does. The keyboard lay out fits my hands. The G915 'low profile' just sucked. They didn't offer a wirst rest. This keyboard comes with one. As well I notice with this keyboard, I don't have as many typos like I use to. The keys are pronouced and easy to find without looking at the keyboard. I like the little LED screen in the conrer as well. I have seen people post about it saying it was worthless. Well I can tell you, you can make your own apps for it to your hearts dirsire. Issues: The Steel series program does have issues. Sometimes the lighting shuts off, then right back on. I have notice that the company is pushing out patches and updates. And the issue in not a deal breaker. While this does come with a very nice wrist rest, animal hair tends to stick to it. I have had to buy a lint remover and keep it down stairs with the keyboard. Everytime I pet my cats somehow their hairs sticks to the rest and is a pure pain to get off trying to to it by hand. All in all, it's a expensive keyboard, but this is a case of you ARE getting what you paid for. And Steel Series is doing to Logitech what AMD is doing to Intel: They are making far superior products as far as mouse/keyboard/headset items.
