Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 Lite Light Gold

Update: battery life has doubled after 3 weeks without me changing any of the settings. Initially I was seeing 10-12% drain per day now I am only seeing 5-6% per day! Which means I should be getting 16 to 20 days between charges! Apparently the watch calibrates itself and learns to optimise its battery usage once it has been exposed to a couple of weeks usage! This watch is incredible value for money, the watch is sleek, well made, the screen is as large and as bright as they get and the UI is one of the best there is. Battery life is good too, I get 7 days easily with pretty much everything switched on including always on display. I use an iPhone and I was surprised at how well these two pair up and work. I can even take calls on my watch, something I did not expect at all. Notifications are shown in a clear way, it does not display WhatsApp emojis and you cannot reply from the watch, but that’s not a deal breaker for me personally. The iOS companion app is fairly ok, it just seems to glitch every now and again but that could be due to iOS itself and its built in limitations when it comes to the API. This watch is perfect for the and more than enough for the casual user. it shows notifications, it can track the essential parameters such as sleep time, HR, SPO2, steps etc. fairly accurately. There are more powerful watches out there with more whistles and bells but they cost 3 to 5 times as much and you would not get 3 to 5 times more value. If you are seriously into fitness, outdoor pursuits, bio-tracking etc. then this watch will disappoint you, otherwise, this is as good as it gets.

Good functionality and working conditions. Many different features all working good. Battery lasting for a very long time(so far 3 days without charging). Good screen quality. You can make calls using the watch and you can hear the caller really well and the caller hears you from the watch with high quality too. Really good value for money.

Been using an Apple Watch for so many years but was fed up of charging every night, this has lasted nearly a month before charging! It has everything that I need in it and looks the part as well, overall a good quality watch

This is a good watch, £40, tells the time, doesn't need a battery replacing every 8 months, can make and recieve phone calls, gives me updates and I use the timer function quite a bit for work:) How accurate or not the rest of it is doesn't really bother me. Looks good, feels good. Works well for what I use! Thank you:)

Love it, nice screen, I have 3 or 4 diff settings on all the time, I am on day 12 with 25% battery life from 1st full charge, so it's good for over 2 weeks, The strap is not long enough and I had to buy another from an independent brand, it's a shame as it would cost pennies to make it longer by 2/3cm, it would then fit more people. But for the price it's fabtastic..

Bright display visible outside in sunshine. (This is the model with the OLED screen) Excellent battery life - 20% battery warning after 3 weeks. Have charged today, but I think it could have lasted another week if I had been away. Comfortable strap with unusual but effective fastening. Email notifications are handy as you can decide whether it's worth getting the phone out to read the message. WhatsApp messages can be read directly on the watch. You can take phone calls on it and speak into the watch like on Star Trek - best not done in company though! To my suprise, the torch feature is bright enough to be effective finding your way around dark hotel rooms. I'm happy with it.

Excellent value does nearly as much as watch costing four times the price, bright clear display and excellent battery life, four weeks with light use. Only negative can not seem to do a short cut the phone favorite?

I initially got this watch for my wife to see if she would benefit from a proper smart watch and she absolutely loves it. The data tracking is excellent and battery life means it lasts a week easily.

Fungera över förväntan, enda nackdelen är att inte kunna styra samtalet till mobilen som förstaval. Hamnat alltid på klockan vilket jag vill eller inte.

Elle fait tout. Elle surveille la santé, inclut une puce GPS permettant de l'utiliser même sans smartphone, l'écran est superbe et très réactif, la qualité des appels est excellente pour un modèle à moins de 50€, et en plus elle donne l'heure ! Écran personnalisable avec une photo, sinon des dizaines sont dispo gratuitement, pas possible d'installer d'autres appli en revanche ni de stocker de la musique. Pour le GPS, précision excellente je suis à moins de 2m d'écart en moyenne par rapport à la réalité (j'ai fait un test en zigzaguant sur un chemin et le résultat est impressionnant), et ça ne tire pas beaucoup sur la batterie. Surveillance santé, rythme cardiaque, sommeil etc.. je n'y utilise pas. Pour les appels, max 10 contacts à ajouter dans l'app du smartphone, la qualité du micro et du haut-parleur est très bonne, aucun soucis de ce coté là. Enfin l'autonomie, livrée avec environs 70% de charge elle a tenue quasi 2 semaines avec utilisation du GPS 30min/jour, quelques appels, pas mal de notifications et le suivi de la santé désactivé. Donc une super autonomie. Pour le prix c'est impressionnant, et hormis les sportifs ou juste le plaisir d'avoir une montre haut de gamme je ne vois vraiment pas l'intérêt d'aller chercher ailleurs
