First time trail-loop user; minimalist and lightweight
I got the trail loop for the first time and I already own every other loop available for the apple watch ultra 2, including ocean band, titanium milanese loop, and the alpine loop (in addition to other bands such as sport band, solo loop, and etc.). I must say that this trail loop is the lightest of them all at 9 grams. Because it's very light, it makes the apple watch ultra 2 more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time due to the lightness. The quality of the material is as you would expect from apple. It is soft, and there are no loose strings anywhere. The velcro is clean, and easy to adjust while being secure at the same time. I got the new black version and it looks very clean with my natural titanium AWU2. I think that this is my current favorite along with the titanium milanese loop because it offers a very minimalist, clean look while being light and comfortable.I do think that it will be more difficult to clean than the metal bands after sustained use.Lastly, I bought the item from the amazon resale section for about 40% off of the full price. It was in like new condition, and for that price, I think that it is worth the money. But I have not tried the non-apple generic trail loops for comparisons, and seeing as they are about $10, I think that those options will provide better value for money yet.

Great but expensive band
Amazing band, one of the best for AU. Kind of expensive

The Only Type of Watch Band I Will Wear
These are my favorite watch bands for my Apple Ultra Watch because they are so easily adjustable. During the day, my wrist will expand so it's really easy to release the band with the velcro and let it out a bit. Not such an easy job with the other bands. This one, being made of fabric, is also washable. Just remove it, scrub it with a brush and some soap, hang it to dry, and voila, good as new. I have this type of band in other colors so I can change them out at will.

Probably my favorite Apple Watch band currently.
I'll write mini reviews for the bands I currently use, so we can see how they stack up against the Trail Loop. I have had many different bands over the years, but the ones I keep coming back to are:Nike Sport Band:This one I got because I wanted something I could get wet (swimming, sweat, etc) without the irritation of having a wet band on my wrist after working out. While this band certainly is great for that and I still use it for intense workouts/swimming, my main complaint is that my wrist tends to be in between notches where one notch is too loose, but the next one up is too tight, so I can't ever get that perfect fit. Also, I don't find this band to be the most comfortable, but it's not terrible. I would give this one a 3/5.Nylon Sport Loop:This one was my favorite for awhile because I can adjust it any way I like and it's quite comfortable, however, unfortunately the velcro started to falter fairly quickly so it's easy to accidentally peel it off, and it has only become worse over time. Very comfortable, but for me not very long lasting, so I would give it a 3/5. I still use it occasionally because I like the styling (I have the red one which I think looks nice), but I can no longer use it for anything active due to the velcro issue.Braided Solo Loop:When I first got this band it was a bit too snug and since there are no adjustments (outside of intentionally stretching it) I dealt with it, then after awhile it stretched to fit absolutely perfectly and it became my all-time favorite band. It's super comfortable! However, as time went on it continued to stretch and now it's too large, so much so that I often lose heart rate monitoring because my watch flops around so much. For the period of time when it fit perfectly I loved it, but it started off too tight and ended up too loose. 3.5/5.Alpine Loop:This is the one I got with my Apple Watch Ultra. It's actually more comfortable than I thought it would be, I assumed the thin edges would make it a bit scratchy, but that's not an issue. It also has a little bit of stretch to it, so even though my wrist sits in between two loops like the Nike Sport Band, I find this one to be more comfortable due to the slight bit of give it has. It's also very secure. It's not as easy to adjust as my other bands because the clasp can take some finagling, though I got used to it. Although it's more comfortable than I thought it would be, it's still not quite as comfortable as the braided solo loop (when it fit perfectly) or the nylon sport loop. 4/5.Trail Loop:This one checks the most boxes so far. I actually find it even more comfortable than my nylon sport loop, the velcro is very sturdy (seems even more sturdy than the sport loop when it was new), and I really like the styling. It matches my Apple Watch Ultra perfectly (I got the blue/gray variant). The only minor quibbles I have are that I'd prefer it without the pull tab, and it runs a bit small despite being M/L (I do have abnormally massive wrists, but my nylon loop doesn't run this small). Lastly, it's incredibly expensive for what it is. I would give this a 4.5/5 as far as comfort/styling go, so in that regard it's my favorite, but I'd drop it down to a 4 because $100 is a lot to ask for this - my nylon loop, which is the most comparable to this one, was half the price. I do worry that the velcro will falter as I use it more, but only time will tell, so far I haven't had any issues.

I feel like I won the lottery!
I just bought my first Apple Watch Ultra, an Ultra 2 in black, in October. The two bands I wanted most were two that were introduced along with the original Apple Watch Ultra and have been long since discontinued: The Orange Alpine Loop and the Black/Gray Trail Loop. I was able to locate an authentic Orange Alpine Loop in China but the Black/Gray Trail Loop with the orange accent alluded me until 6th Ave posted a new one at half price on Amazon. The watch band arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Thank you! (For anyone wondering, the natural titanium ends on these two watch bands look great with the black Ultra 2.)It's worth mentioning that the Trail Loop bands are probably the most comfortable option for Apple Watch Ultra owners. They're also the quickest to tighten and remove. But the thing I like best about them is that they have no metal hardware to scratch up my MacBook Pro when I'm using it. As much as I like the Alpine Loops, the metal hardware definitely leaves marks.
