I’ve wanted this thing for years and am a huge fan of Zulay products. So worth the wait!!!! It’s incredible. Well-built, excellent cutting, super easy to clean and use, makes grating an absolute BREEZE. And it’s infinitely safer than our old mandolin. Marvelous.

I bought this to shred cheese so I could save some $, but this item does so much more. You know those veggies you buy with such good intentions that end up dying in the back of the vegetable crisper? I don't have those anymore. This thing is so easy to use that I can slice up a jumbo bag of mini peppers in minutes. I did some cucumbers to make pickles and I was done in under 10 minutes-it took me longer to unbox the grater/shredder and put it together than it did to use it. And speaking of assembly, I'm an idiot when it comes to assembling new stuff, but this was easy-directions were clear and in English. I've only used the thin slice blade so far but I'm convinced they will all work as promised. Clean up is easy, just watch your fingers because, duh, sharp blades. I can't believe I waited so long to buy this. Great product, well worth the $.

I wanted this mostly for cheese grating. It is awesome and so easy for shredded cheese. I discovered it is wonderful for shredding carrot as well. I haven't tried it for chopping almonds yet. But will try when I am ready to make more homemade granola. I am disappointed when it comes to celery and onion. It did not go well. All it did was make a bad mess. I had to cut those veggies with an old fashioned knife and cutting board. The counter suction was not the greatest, but I simply had to refasten and I could continue. I do love the easy and handy blade storage container that I could conveniently keep in my kitchen tool drawer. I can only give it 4 stars because it's not a good veggie chopper.

I've used this a few times now. The base holds securely to the counter and does not slip while in use. There are multiple blades for various things like grating cheese, or slicing vegetables. It quickly sliced up veggies for a salad that I made. My cheese block shredded up quickly. Materials are very durable and easy to clean. The unit comes apart easily for cleaning and storing back into it's box. It totally lives up to my expectations.

First of all, I loved the color Jade night, it's a gorgeous green and the plastic material is very nice, it doesn'tlook cheap at all. Second, very easy to put the pieces together and even though everything is very secure it's very smoothly. Third, very efficient and easy to grate and shredd. Just loved, specially knowing I won't be cutting my hands anymore when shredding my carrots :) Lovely addiction to my kitchen :)

This is so much better than grating by hand. I have both a four-sided grater and a single side grater. I have very thin skin so I'm always slicing my fingers or knuckles on those things. This grater makes very quick work out of 2 lb blocks of cheese. The pros are the excellent choice of grating cups and the fact that everything goes in the dishwasher. And the speed with which you are able to grate a large amount of cheese. The cons are that when you get down towards the end of the block of cheese, sometimes a very thin slice gets impaled on the grating cup and does not grate. It just keeps rolling over and over inside the receptacle. I had to go through trial and error to find the right height and shape of bowl to catch the grated pieces. Also it seems to have some problem sticking to the counter. It works pretty well if I dampen my fingers and run it across the bottom and then turn the suction on. Even with these minor difficulties, I'd choose this over a manual grater any day.

Mostly to grate cheese. Sticks to table and easy to work. Not hard to clean. Better than dragging out food processor. B

I purchased this for a very specific project, soap. I needed an automated system to turn bars of soap into flakes so I could make body wash. I used the manual grater, it took almost 1 hour to grate one bar of soap. This gizmo, its not even 2 minutes. Great, solid quality, did not crack or break to the bending and pressure.Remember I am not using food, so this is outstanding!!After 3 cycles in the dishwasher, I started using it for food and I am just elated at the easy-to-use, assemble, disassemble and the innovative way the blades are stored. Just a good product!

This will be the last grater you will ever need. 4 different blades, it sticks to your counter with a strong suction, yet easy to release. Also, comes apart quick and easy for a through cleaning. Bonus, looks to be well made, not cheap plastic you find with other products.

Although still usable it is broken and very sharp. 😔Was very excited to get this but now I am disappointed.

I bought this to help me with all the chopping and cutting. It’s a really great product. You can slice items in minutes. However, if items are too hard or to too “watery” it can make your life difficult. Sometimes the blade spins and it isn’t able to cut the vegetable. I had a hard time shredding cauliflower and zucchini for example. But the product is great. I really helps.
